"Settled" for Hungry Howies after I couldn't find parking for any place downtown, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the food and service. Order was accurate and came up quick. Just waiting for my food and observing the staff handling other customers gave me the impression that the place is pretty well ran, enough so that I felt compelled to write a review of a chain pizza place while on vacation.
This pizza shop became my back up, when I realized that Belle lsle pizza, did not open until 4pm and I needed pizza by 1:30pm. Shout out to Ms. Mariah B, at Howie Pizza on Lafayette. She not only worked with me to select pizzas for preschoolers, BUT they were hot and READY by the time I needed. Ms. Mariah, Your pizzas were not only a Hugh hit and you saved my behind. Thanks.
This has to be the best hungry howies I have gone too. The food was so gosh darn good I went back 2 hours later and got 3 more large pizzas with some bread sticks. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My food was fresh and ready in a timely manner. I cannot wait to go back!
