Love this place! I had the ribs & brisket plate with potatoes casserole & okra! The food is superb and the staff give great friendly service. I come from Poteet, Tx and stop by there on my way home from visiting relatives. That's my only lunch stop before heading home. And of course I bring home extras for dinner. �
This place is excellent. I'm convinced that any bad reviews on here actually happened in an alternate universe and should therefore be disregarded. Great service, amazing food and great atmosphere. Best little BBQ joint I've ever been to, hands down. If you leave hungry or disappointed you did something wrong!
If you are anywhere around Richmond or Rosenberg this place is a must. Top notch BBQ and you have to have the baked potato casserole.

Catered a “Safety Award Lunch” for the employees...everything was brought out, set up and ready on time...awesome service, wonderful food, friendly people.

Some of the best barbecue around. Virtually nothing on the menu that isn't exceptional. The tri-tip is to die for. Owners are first class as well!
I have tried a lot of food items. Everything is great, but my favorite is stuffed baked potato. The place is always so clean, and the people are always friendly.

The food is always good. The brisket nachos are delicious. We also love their bake potato casserole. Their tea is good and no weird taste. They have a super friendly staff as well. I appreciate that they have a drive thru.
I like Shultzes BBQ. They are the best in the area by far. Never had a problem with quality or service AND it is the cleanest run restaurant I have ever seen. (I have been in the kitchen during and after working hours several times servicing their equipment).
If you want real Family Owned Texas BBQ this is the place.
A bit pricey but I think it's worth it.
The green beans were flavorful and rich. The mashed potatoes had a light buttery flavor in every bite. The brisket had a nice smoke, not dry at all, I give it a 7.5/10, the jalapeno sausage was an 8/10, just the right level of spice. The beef rib was generous and had a good cooked on glaze. The sauce was mildly spicy with a sweet aftertaste. Secret hidden item is the homemade style jalapeno bread, shocked me how good it was.
My honest review of Schulze’s Bar-B-Que:
Schulze’s Bar-B-Que is a local barbecue restaurant with a lot of flavor, I got the sliced beef sandwich and it was pretty good, the BBQ sauce is a good blend of sweet and savory. The green beans are also very good. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Overall: This is a good BBQ place.
First time to visit Schulze's BBQ. What a treat. Great BBQ. Great selection of meats and side orders. In addition to the fantastic tasting sausage and brisket, the potato salad and pinto beans were also outstanding! Service was also outstanding. Very friendly people. I'll definitely be back!
My compliments to the pit master. The turkey was the most tender and flavorful I've ever had. I know we Texans like our beef, but the turkey here is a hidden gem. The pepper/carrot blend was a perfect complement and I really enjoyed the cucumber salad. Not too sweet... not too sour... 100% refreshing. Excellent experience.
Wow! Everything was fantastic about this place. The food, the service, the prices, amazing! We had our dog with us and were in the mood for bbq, but since dogs were not allowed we decided to stop anyway and eat in our car, crazy I know but the reviews for this place were so good and it was on the way to our destination so we had to check it out! So glad we did. Everything was so delicious! The ribs, the brisket, sausage, potato salad, buttered potatoes, Mac n cheese and fries and even the bread was out of this world delicious!!! We will highly recommend to friends and return. Also the people who work here were also very nice and friendly, a must stop if you’re in the area.

WOW! This was my first Texas BBQ and it was Amazing. Everything was delicious and I loved the baked potatoe salad the most! 5 Stars is definitely a understatement for this restaurant.
If you are ever near this place- first thing you do, please stop by here. The food is very amazing, good and fast service, and usually doesn’t get crowded. Very nice little old-fashioned Texan theme, and in general one of the best BBQ places I’ve visited by far!
Great place to eat. This place has anything BBQ you can think of! You have choices ranging from sandwiches to 1 or 3 different meat plates along with sides . Service was great in navigating questions. Everything looked soo good, and it was so hard to make choices on our sides. If you Chace in stopping at this restaurant bring your appetite.
Stopped by for a late lunch and ended up ordering a block chopped brisket stuffed potato. Man, that was a meal! And yes... there is a potato under that mound of brisket! Great meat texture and doneness. I found it to be a well smoked brisket and it went well with the butter, sour cream and chives. But I had to add some jalapeño's just because they looked good on it. I really didn't need to put much sauce on top, but ended up dipping some of the home-made bread to finish that off. I did have to take half of this monster home with me, along with a portion of their peach cobbler for later. New favorite BBQ hangout!!
I have been coming here for the great BBQ for many years. Chicken plate with Okra and loaded potatoes. Highly recommend it here, the food and service has always been excellent.
Dropped in for lunch today, we've been here before and enjoyed it so we returned to try something else. My two meat plate consisting of sausage and chopped beef with two sides mac and cheese and baked potato casserole was overall ok. My only complaint is I prefer my chopped beef chopped to order, this chppped beef was close to being of a pureed consistency and the mac and cheese was made with terrible canned cheese and very bland. The GF very much enjoyed her sliced beef sandwich but agrees with me on the mac and cheese. The bbq is good and we will return, but not for the chopped beef or mac and cheese. Signing off until next time.... two peas.
I've been going here with my family for over 20 years, & this place has always been one of my favorite. The BBQ is fantastic, the sweet tea is phenomenal, and the employees are so chill. I highly recommend!
As for the food, it was great, the people that work there are also great and friendly, the only reason I give it 4 stars is because we were there 33 minutes standing in the line before we were able to order. Other than that, the place is great.
Not the best BBQ you'll have, but they have some great sides and friendly staff. Great prices for catering compared to other BBQ places.
Just stopped in while passing through with my parents, and everything was wonderful! My mom and I had the sausage sandwich, delicious, my dad had the brisket, he loved it, the pinto beans were delicious, and the loaded potato salad is addictive! Customer service was friendly and fast as well, this place will definitely make the list of places to stop when commuting between the valley and Houston.
Omgggggg customer service is amazing and the brisket and beef slized were sooo succulent & delicious!!! Fries were super fresh.
