This is one of the best Asian Bistros I've been to here in NorCal. Second time coming to this establishment. Celebrated my cousin's 30th birthday here I May and I fell in love with the food! On this trip, we booked reservations for my son's 23rd birthday! The food is amazing at this place! The ambiance is really nice, although it may get a tad noisy, but tolerable.
The only minor thing I may comment on is that make sure when your asking or requesting from your server to make the dish "non-spicy" and they say they "we can do that for you!" That you double check if the dish you ordered is really "non-spicy." Because when we order the dish to be non-spicy, it should be spicy.
The service was a little bit slow, or they may be short staffed since it is the Holidays.
Other than that, Fats Asian Bistro is a place I would keep coming back to! Like I said earlier, this place is amazing! �
We always eat in the bar area. Love the small plate and happy hour specials. Bartenders and servers are great, the food is always spot-on.
It was our first time here. The food was very good! Our waitress was very attentive. The only thing I felt the chairs were not that comfortable and felt wobbly . We will visit again.
Fabulous reception, service and food. We love Frank Fat's downtown and this is a close second. Our waiter was wonderful and gave us great attention without being hovering. He didn't rush us and we loved everything.....great drinks, great appetizers and delicious dinner.....we love the Roseville Bistro!
Amazing surprise date venue. Truly delicious food and drinks. The banana cream pie is as famous as it is spoken of! The beauty of the interior of the restaurant is captivating- everywhere you live ok there is beautiful design
13 of us for a birthday. Youngest attending 44, oldest 80. Had a fab waitress who accomplished us and another table of 6! I am so sorry, I don't remember her name. Sweet girl!. Food fab, also and as always......we took home enough to feed us for days. The seafood fat pot, awesome.
I absolutely love this place! Took my friend for her birthday yesterday & she loved it as well. Our waiter recognized me from previous visits. The atmosphere is beautiful service was excellent & food...delicious as always. I'll be back!!
What a treat tonight! It’s PF Chang’s on steroids. So much better. Food is next level. Place is super cool vibe. Server was friendly and informative. Food comes out piping hot and lots of it. Plan on sharing meals. Appetizers are fantastic. Drinks are tasty and strong! Price point is very fair for what you get. Clean and tastefully decorated restaurant. Make a reservation or come at an off time because it’s busy!

Our son spilled water and she really step up and help us out. Remarkable job! Definitely deserves $100 tip!

As a retreat customer I can honestly say that Fats consistently impresses with excellent food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make an effort to ensure a great dining experience, although the younger waitstaff sometimes appear less enthusiastic, a trend noted in the wider service industry. Despite this minor issue, the overall service is commendable, meriting a 4 out of 5 rating. Both the food quality and the ambiance are standout features, with dine-in meals particularly outshining takeout options. Portions are generous, and the preparation is consistently top-notch. For newcomers, the Dim Sum Basket - a delightful mix of pork, chicken, shrimp, and flavorful sauces - is a must-try. Overall, I encourage you to try Fats for its consistent quality and enjoyable dining experience.
We celebrated my mama's birthday here and it was good! The atmosphere was nice. They did have a lot of people come in after we got there, so they were busy for a Friday night. I made reservations for 6 pm. We ordered appetizers, lettuce wrap cups, salt & pepper wings, Koren bbq chicken wings, lumpia, and potstickers.
All the food is served family style. We ordered orange chicken, general chicken 🌶, fried rice, white rice, honey walnut shrimp & chicken, garlic noodles, and garlic noodles with chicken 🤌🏾 sOooo good!

One of my favorite Sweet and Sour Pork dishes. The Hot and Sour Soup is good too. Finally have servers that know what they are doing. That's hard to find since covid.
First off this place is spectacular! It’s a very presentable scenery with a spacious dining area. Our waitresses, Cynthia was second to none. She took care of me and my wife royally. Now to the food. First off it was piping hot and looked as appetizing as Chinese food can look. Believe it or not food taste better than it looked. We made a very big order so this night money was not an object because it is a very expensive place but it is so worth it. The rice and chow mein was perfect and the sweet-and-sour pork was crispy flavorful, and most importantly tender. But the best thing that I taste of that night was the honey walnut prawns… They are ridiculous! I’ve never tasted a flavor quite like that. It almost had a cotton candy sweetness too it. Out of this world! This is not a place we can go every week but it’s definitely in a rotation. Thank you for a beautiful night.

Very nice dinner. Three of us each ordered a different "Bistro" meal, with choice of white or brown rice, then we shared some of each. We had Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. All were very good and plenty for us. We also had an appetizer of Lettuce Wraps. Picture is of my plate with the 3 entrees and we each had seconds.
We've been to several other Frank's locations, but this was our first time at this one. The Mongolian beef had just the right amount of spicy heat and their Beef and Brocolli tasted amazing with the oyster sauce. We also made sure to leave room for dessert: their famous Banana Cream Pie - amazing!

Very modern and beautiful. Best honey walnut prawns ever! First time here, didn't know what to order. Lots of varieties. The banana cream pie is a must try for dessert!
Staff was on it. Made my mom’s milestone birthday memorable. Great atmosphere with the palm trees and lights. Food portions are huge and it is great to have leftovers later. Price is on point for the atmosphere and quality. We will be back.
I can't complain, the food was good and our waitress was very sweet. Really nice atmosphere and strong drinks.
