The most wonderful lunch. Service was impeccable and the food to die for. You get what you pay for but being treated like a queen is even better. I cook a lot of Italian food so when I go out I want the best! Love this place.

We were there for a Project Management Institute breakfast Buffet. The service was exceptional and the servers were friendly with excellent customer service manners. Fine dining at its best. I recommend this dining experience to everyone. �
Wonderful evening!! It was our 35th wedding anniversary, and we were treated so special, complete with red tablecloth, complimentary bottled water, and appetizer and dessert for two (and I must mention the beautiful yellow rose that my husband had taken to the restaurant earlier so they could set it on the table...:-)) ! Food was so delicious, and service was great (although the waiter did seem a bit rushed, even though the restaurant wasn't at all full-). The atmosphere is lovely and the entire evening was really lovely. They even had a guest book for us to sign, since it was a special occasion for us. Another nice touch! Thank you, Il Fornaio, for the extra touches that really made us feel special. It was another memorable celebration there and we will definitely return!
We really enjoyed the bread basket, Caesar salad, grilled seafood appetizer, calamari, and tiramisu. We wanted a light lunch and the freshness, flavor, and presentation superseded our expectations. The server was attentive and quite pleasant, and the ambiance was nice. Looking forward to our next visit!
A wonderful experience as always!! We celebrated my 56th birthday. After a wonderful meal, my husband had a chicken with pasta shells and I had linguini mare, I was spoiled with spumoni ice cream. Our waiter, Cody, although slammed, was very attentive. Just an outstanding evening!!
Couldn't be happier they made my wife and I feel like queen and King, amazing special treatment because it was our anniversary night and they sat us at the table of honor, the waitress was extremely nice and we got blessed with extra goodies, definitely 5 *****
Tried this place for the first time today. Amazing food, the Chicken Marsala was one of the juiciest pieces of chicken I have ever eaten. Grilled to perfection, low salt content but thats why you have salt on the table. =) The staff that served out party of around 30 was attentive, nice, and courteous. Coming back here soon.
It's always a delight to be able to sit and relax and enjoy the food, ambiance and service. I've visited both the Walnut Creek and Roseville locations and I always enjoy a time well spent.

Went here for lunch. Very nice restaurant. Our food was delicious. The server was friendly and helpful. I would go here again and again.
We arrived on a Saturday night, around 6:30pm, WITHOUT reservations, not recommended. After being told there was an hour and half wait, then asking the hostess to check with the downtown location, with the same results. Charlotte, who I assume is the hostess manager(?), went above and beyond to locate a table, for my twin sons and I. We were there to celebrate their birthday, as we had in the past, but this time as a reduced family. Charlotte worked her magic, located a comfortable table for us. Matt was exceptional as our server, and Travis our busser was very attentive. An experience that could've become a disappointment, due to my lack of planning, became one of our best Il Fornaio experiences ever! Many thanks for making our evening a great experience, Charlotte, Matt and Travis!

The butternut squash ravioli was absolutely amazing!! The ambiance is perfect, along with the service and quality of the entire experience.
Came for a company Christmas luncheon. We were seated very quickly. The restaurant itself wasn’t very busy, but we had a party of about 8 people. Appetizers came out pretty quickly but our food itself took a bit longer to come out. Once it arrived, it was delicious and worth the wait! I wasn’t able to get pics of the appetizers but highly recommend the meatballs as well as the calamari. For my dish, I got linguine with seafood. Mussels/clams and scallops. Yum!
I couldn't be more thankful that my hunny chose this restaurant as the romantic place to wine and dine me, and after dessert, ask me to marry him! It was such a wonderful experience already, with the wonderful service by Alex and then for him to go over and beyond by filming my fiancé's sweet proposal. This restaurant is a gem! There are a few different locations of Il fornaio restaurants in the Sacramento area. The other one that I have been to is the one on Capital Mall downtown. Each location has a different ambiance to it. The one on Capital Mall has very high ceilings, whereas the one in Roseville has very low feelings and has a more intimate warm feeling to it. The food is really good. The servings on the children's menu are fairly sized. We ordered two pasta dishes and two pizzas off the main menu, and the chicken tender is off of the children's menu. My daughter raved about the chicken tenders! They were tasty! We ordered the endless bread basket of freshly baked warm bread for $2. Highly recommend! The pizzas were excellent. My older son raved about the pasta dish that he purchased. My other child special ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken breast and he loved it. Highly recommend if you are at the Roseville galleria or nearby. The food is fresh and most of it is made in house. It is especially more charming with all of the Christmas decor.
10/10. No complaints. Service was great. Food was amazing. I think I ordered the Paccheri Alla Vodka, along with some bread, the Tiki Taormina, and Margarita Italiano. Everything was great. The staff were so friendly, especially Samantha. She had some great drink recommendations. I love that there's a fireplace. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Mood was perfect. Overall, I loved the place. I'll definitely be coming back.
Absolutely delicious! I love a good homemade pizza and Fornaio didn’t disappoint. The FRADIAVOLA ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked.
The BRUSCHETTE ASSORTITE was amazing. I was able to sample three different flavor pairings, the pesto and stracciatella cheese being my favorite.
My waitress, Suzanne, was so sweet. Suzanne made great recommendations, was able to make small talk and a personal connection. Who would have guessed we have family in the same small TX town.
A little observation the manager cleaned/cleared tables, set tables and refilled waters. I have a great respect for leaders willing to do the same work as their employees.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Il Fornio and I am happy to report that it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch.
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant. It had a cozy, intimate feel that made me feel right at home. The menu was extensive and offered a great selection of Italian classics as well as some unique and creative dishes.
I ended up ordering the margarita pizza and it was one of the best I have ever had. My dining companion ordered the Amatriciana pasta and it was equally impressive.
The service at Il Fornio was also outstanding. Our waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, and they made some great recommendations for us. They also went out of their way to make sure we had a great dining experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend Il Fornio to anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant. The food and service were both excellent, and I can't wait to celebrate there again soon.

This particular location is consistently great. The food, service, everything. I wish I could remember our servers name, as he did a great job.
I ordered a fish dish that was on the specials menu. I think it was halibut? It was great! Was served with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. Very yummy. My date ordered a veal dish. It too was a special. It was very tasty! I would order both dishes in a heartbeat.
Went for a large work event, never been here before. The salmon was delicious and the service was great.
Went for Happy Hour today, haven't been in a while. Was still a good experience. The brussel sprouts were super good. The pizza was tasty as well. Cocktail's were delicious too. Overall great experience.
