My husband Vern Humphrey and myself Ann love this place. Food is always wonderful, consistently excellent, servers are fun, funny, and makes us feel like we have came home to a loving family....
I don't really care about French fries,, however, theirs is the best ever. Hubby has only been allowed one off my plate, per visit. Then he gets "that look" lol. We love this place to eat and relax.
Great place, fresh food and great service. Go early to avoid the wait. It's worth it...
Have been here three times now. Delicious food every time! Chicken fried steak and gravy, corned beef hash, both are my litmus tests for breakfast. Both dishes were spot on fantastic! Today's reuben sandwich was no disappointment either... fabulous!
This is an outstanding restaurant! All the staff are friendly and very accommodating. Best chicken fried steak ever! There isn’t a bad thing on the menu. Very clean and always decorated beautifully. We go at least once a week. Great place! Can’ go wrong.
Best Rueben ever with homemade corned beef hash! Great fries. The breakfasts are excellent...you cannot go wrong. We’ve been coming for many years.
The best chicken fried steak I've had in California! And the service was just as good ! Thank you for starting off my morning right !
Our favorite Saturday breakfast place love that Ms. Brenda always knows we are going to split our meal and loves on all her customers, your whole stuff rocks!

This is my favorite breakfast spot--great food and service 🤗
Kind and friendly service. Delicious breakfast and served hot. Refill's on coffee. I would make a future appearance again some day with my boyfriend.
I absolutely love to have a weekend breakfast with my hubby here. Food is amazing, home cooked and the service is exceptional.

Great place!!! ❤️❤️ Our Favorite is the "special" cinnamon roll French toast.
We have been coming here for years. After our granddaughter was born, we started bringing her on weekends. She loves the train rolling through the cafe and hearing the train outside passing by. But now that she's 13, she doesn't always pull the train whistle going out the door! The food is good with generous portions and no matter how busy they are, the staff is there to make sure you are happy with your meal. Great ambience and the holiday decor from Halloween through Christmas is a special touch.
The food is consistently very good and the staff is friendly and engaging.
Great food, service, and well priced! ! We will be going back! !
Staff is always friendly.....good home cooking. Generous on portions.

Great food and priced right!👍🏻👍🏻Will definitely go back!
Local breakfast spot that does not disappoint. No frills, cozy restaurant with a lot of charm. Model train goes through the restaurant and there is a train whistle you can pull at the entrance.
Seated and served quickly. Food was fresh and tasty. Good sized portions. Prices are a bit high, but it seems like that everywhere these days.
First time at this restaurant and they have a cool little train engine going around the top of the restaurant. Food was so good that my husband's plate emptied out before I remembered to take a photo. Service was great! I removed one star for their allergy signs though. Don't come here if you have food allergies since they won't cater to you. I understand it can be extra work and make it tougher on staff but it's too bad folks with allergies won't be safe here. Maybe they'll consider upgrading their brand in the future. Also, they only offer drip coffee but I got hot chocolate instead. (Walnut pancakes are offered here.) Free parking lot available within 3 minute walk.
First-time experience. The restaurant was very cute with a running train my son loved. The menu had a large variety of breakfasts that seemed like something for everyone. The coffee was hot and delicious. The orange juice was good. They had some gluten-free options, which was nice. The service was fast and friendly. Will return again and try something new.
Food is great. Service is great when it's not busy. Sign on the table reminds you to expect an hour wait when it's busy.
Nice and cozy place in Roseville to have brunch, super nice staff, I ordered eggs and sausage and hash brown which were good but english muffin was not good, very small and only half of an english muffin over buttered
Upon arrival, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. The atmosphere was set to the perfect temperature. Our waiter Maryann, may I add was phenomenal. Oh! did I mention the train that runs through the whole restaurant. Seat was comfortable and the tables were clean. The decor reminded me of my grandmother house. It changes season to season holiday to holiday. Lastly from the floor to the bathroom everything was squeaky clean.
The food to my surprise came rather quick. They have great options. I, myself enjoyed the egg Benedict, and believe me when I say this it’s was by far the best one I had in a long time. The portions were just right not to big and definitely not to small. They were perfect. The food was deliciously made at the right temperature upon arrival to my table. Overall I would highly recommend/suggest this place. My only complaint is why isn’t this place 5.0 stars.

Nice little breakfast place are first time being there. We really like it, it had a very warm and cozy feeling to it, like ur home with your family, me and my lady got the same plate, eggs where cooked beautifully, bacon was the prefect crisp, potatoes where season well, plus beer for breakfast makes this place more like your at home, service was great very welcoming, decor was old fashioned made u feel like u where back in the old days, we really like this place diffidently coming back, thanks for taking the time to read my short review 😎
Good service in an enjoyable environment, even if you don't like trains. However, I like trains and am always happy when I can get a seat by the window. The trains outside and the train inside are both fun. Oh! The food is good too. It is fun to go to a true Americana style cafe.
Family atmosphere from the owners Chris & Tina hands on working to the train making it’s way around the restaurant up above , the atmosphere is laid back.
The food is wonderful, I had the veggie sandwich and fries.
Yum
You can tell all the love and care the folks effort goes inti their business to make a homey, yummy meal and experience for all, from the workers serving you to the patrons , a wonderful experience.
Come away happily satisfied tummy and soul.
Thank you Chris & Tina and crew
Nice, friendly service. Portions are smaller than a lot of other restaurants. Gravy with biscuits is just flavored with pepper, no meat. Eggs bene with turkey has one slice of turkey lunch meat.
