We used to go here when I was very young to grab deli before we headed out to the lake. I had a craving for deli and was nearby, so I stopped in and they did not disappoint! Fast, friendly and DELISH!
My family has been eating at Better Foods Deli for more than 30 years! I have a hard time going in without Joey there but it’s still delicious! �
Their sweet rolls are the best! Great service too! I always go back!

Been eating here for 40+ years and I love it! Ever time I come to town I stop by for a turkey with fontana cheese. Yum!

Absolutly the best sandwich i have ever had. Zero contest. Hand sliced meats. Fresh bread. And absolutly wonderful staff. How this place wasnt packed out i dont know.
Little local spot not too far from the 80 freeway entrance, found this place accident after a sandwich craving kicked in. Decided to give the larger chains a break and try this place. Glad i did 👍
Regular size sandwiches allow you to add up to two different kinds of meat, also sell half sandwiches and 4 meat (large ) sandwiches. Freshly made, not a long wait at all. Friendly staff, continuously asked if i needed anything else.
Ordered:
1 peppered Turkey sandwich w/o tomatoes and onions
1 smoked turkey & roast beef sandwich with everything on it
2 deviled eggs
Sandwiches were big, a lot of taste and bang for the unexpectedly inexpensive prices for the amount and quality of food. I see why this place has a 4.8 rating 🔥 I will definitely be back to this new found favorite.
They also sell hot links, polish dogs and a few other quick meals.
Got the meatball sub. It was just okay, if I hadn't gotten onions it would've been kinda bland. Next time I will get a different sandwich, so it was good enough and the staff was nice enough that I'll be back. My husband got a 3 meat Italian and he was in heaven. I like supporting local businesses so I'll give them another try and order better.

Egg-cellent delived eggs, sandwiches and fresh made salads. Everything you'd imagine a deli to have and more.
I got a half sandwich and small macaroni salad. 😋 It was delicious!

I was told that this is the place to get a good deli sandwich, and I was not mislead at all. I had a 3 meat Italian sub on sweet French bread and deviled eggs.. the eggs are amazing and have a perfect texture. I would recommend to anyone that asks about a deli shop.

Amazing. We have only lived in the area a couple months and go there almost every week. Even got their pasta and noodles for dinner last night. "Yummy in my tummy" as my daughter said.
Appears to be family owned. great food, pleasant customer service and they had the giants game on to watch while I waited or dined in. Keep it up, gang!
One of my favorite local sandwich spots now . I moved out here from the Bay Area . My co workers told me about this sandwich spot and it turned out to be great.

Always have loved BFD. We've been buying sandwiches here for 30 years. Never a disappointment.
Two visits in the last week. Ordered the BFD both times. Let her pick the meats and cheeses and bread. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I miss the small Italian delis I used to visit, where you just throw your order to them and they just deliver because the ingredients and experience are that good. Stop in, order a sandwich for lunch, and another for dinner later on.

A friend & I were taking 3 classes at Sierra introduced me in 1986 I'm a semi regular customer ever since. Thanx Mary we survived Calculus & racquet ball (she has a deadly rollout backhand) & we both "A-ed" at sandwiches. I've seen MANY family members come & go and show again. I usually get a Giuseppe. I've tried them all and all were Great.

In the 1990s this was a staple lunch for myself, my staff, and my accounts that I would treat. It was consistently buzzing with a local ambience, high school kids behind the counter...it had energy and was also so delicious.
My career changed as did my location so I stopped visiting. But have enjoyed a sandwich a few times since.
I was so excited when I received a gift from a local real estate consultant to go have lunch at Better Foods Deli. I am not a coupons for many reasons but one of which feeling like I’m going to get some thing low quality and half the service. But, today I decided to go for it because I love the memories attached to this deli. I was greeted by a sweet young lady and she didn’t roll her eyes when I told her that I was ordering off of a free coupon that I had.
I was provided with great service and when I opened up my wrap sandwich it brought back memories of that soft roll and Italian meats.
I’m really glad that I was re-introduced and I will certainly be back soon.
I have eaten 3 sandwiches from here so far, and plan to eat many, many ,many more in the future. I have only tried the Giuseppe so far, but it is the best true deli sandwich around. Fresh bread, fresh cut meats and fresh produce perfectly assembled and the Macaroni Salad is unique and delicious.
