Notice how the Alaskan cod is scored, which made it easy to pick bites without cutting, and also created more surface area for frying. This was very good fish & chips.
The garlic bread was very good, which is probably because it was pretty drenched in garlic butter though still crunchy.
There was just one lady working, but she was friendly and patient.
Their sea bass was perfectly cooked, and they had very good fish and chips. We also got the clam chowder but that fell short just a little bit, it tasted like itbwas almost perfect.
Highly recommend the fish and chips.
I was also able to special order some fish, Florida grouper. It came in fresh the next day. They looked great and didn't have a strong smell.
My husband and I love this place. I always get the Fish and Chips. It is cooked to my likes with fresh delicious fries and their own crispy slaw that is the best I have had from any restaurant. We go often and take our friends who haven't been yet. They always come away very happy.
Nice casual appearing restaurant with an outstanding menu. They specialize in seafood and DO know how to fix it. Service was excellent and our party of seven had one waitress that knew what she was doing. Only issue was our clam chowder was not hot, and the food was, in general, not as hot as expected. Still, it's well worth going back.
This was our first visit here. And we had to make sure the staff knew that it was absolutely the best lunch. Date me and my husband have had in I very long time. Everything was fresh, tasted amazing and the service was great. If I could give more star I would. 5 starts doesn’t give it justice. I will be going back again very soon
I was a little skeptical because they didn't ask how I wanted my fish prepared for the sandwich... (I am also from Florida so I'm very particular about seafood.) The sandwich comes one way, but it is very good. The fish was fresh and light. I will definitely return for another mahi sandwich!
I had a combo Crab & Shrimp Louie and my son had a Salmon Louie. The lettuce was fresh and cold and the meat was delicious and good quantity. Bowl of New England clam chowder as appetizer. Great for a warm day! Attentive waiter also.
I came here at 2:30pm, so the place was empty. My wife came here for New England clam chowder in bread bowl and it was Fantastic!! The size is was grate but the taste was amazing. So far the best clam chowder we tasted till now. The service was good as well. Chicken strips in appetizers were ok.
Came in today. Fantastic service, excellent prices. These guys are great for seafood. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Bought lobster tails and crab cakes. We will be back. They were preparing for dinner when we went in and it smelled incredible.
Best fish ever! I've been there several times and ordered a different entree. Each time the fish practically melted in my mouth it was so tender, even the cod. Definitely a favorite!
What a gem! Went there with a coupon, but didn't end up using it because it was only for entrees, not sandwiches. We almost left but I'm glad we stayed. We had the clam chowder to start, which was okay. We lived in New England for a few years, so naturally we're very particular about our C.C. But then came the fish and chips with cole slaw. The cole slaw was among the best we've ever had, with a slightly sweet taste to the dressing. The server, who was very good by the way, explained that it was vinegar based but with with a some kind of a sweet vinegar. The fish was tender and flakey, and very tasty. The tartar sauce was excellent as well.
Bottom line, we highly recommend Find Market and Grill in Roseville. I understand that have two other locations as well, both in Fair Oaks. Enjoy!
Fins is solid. If you love seafood, this is the place to go. It's hard to get good seafood out in Sacramento. Best fish and chips for the people that don't like to get into other types of fish while keeping it simple.
If you want to just buy fish and cook it at home you can do this as well.
Always very good seafood sandwiches. I love how they have different sandwiches for each fish. Also customer service is always good. The reason they get 4 stars is every time we go there they are always out of something I want to try.
