Thyme is famous for brunch. The hostess Jeanine made sure we had our favorite table outdoors (in the back on the patio facing the water), even though it was t initially available. Tyler is an outstanding server. He was attentive, service oriented, humorous, had great opinions, and well mannered. The two of them made our day perfect. It was a big celebration for us, and I couldn’t think of a better place, food, or service to have made the day enjoyable. I had the mushroom omelette and my wife had the salmon Eggs Benedict.

Absolutely amazing service, everyone working here has such a pleasant attitude, from the valet guy to the door greeter to the bus boys etc. Thyme has amazing ambiance and an overall feel I like to describe as cozy yet elegant, classy but not uptight. Perfect for after work or even a formal dinner. They have an upstairs for added capacity on the weekends/ busier days. The drinks were strong (in the best way) and delicious, & you could taste the care and attention that went into each meal made.

Just visiting and this was a short walk…I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The Seafood Paella was delicious. Great service as well. I will definitely be back! I normally don’t do dessert, but the food was so good that I thought to give it a try. The Banana Waffer Pudding jar is amazing!

Came here and had a fabulous plus memorable dinner with good friends. Perfect setting and wonderful dishes for guests entertaining or just a stress free dinner out. All appetizers, entreés and dessert were prepared to perfection. Fresh ingredients all the way through.

Great service and delicious food. My family and I went on Easter Sunday and had a fantastic brunch. Our server, and the staff, were very attentive and friendly. Our meals were perfectly prepared and presented to us in a timely manner. This spot is now on my favorites list.

Came here for brunch a few weeks ago and I must say this place is just spectacular! The food was just beyond delicious. Don’t get me started on their service! They’re very welcoming and friendly! We did not expect the portions to fill us but trust me, we were all super full but despite being full we wanted to get dessert. Who says no to dessert anyways?! Their desserts were not too sweet but just perfect! Would definitely come back here to try other items on their menu! I’d also recommend making reservations as this place seems to get pretty packed during brunch.

Nice view from back patio. Service was a bit lacking in terms of personality and attitude. I don't mind pricey, but the menu was limited and the food was good, not great.

Wonderful dinner experience. The warm kale/Brussels sprouts salad was especially delicious. Staff extremely attentive and visible . Eric, our server was excellent and very knowledgeable and accommodating in dealing with a food allergy. He went the extra “mile” knowing we were celebrating a special occasion!

Visiting from Florida and staying with my brother-in-law in Mill neck and meeting friends from Forest Hills. Read the reviews and chose Thyme for dinner. A charming old house overlooking a lake. We ere fortunate to have Leonard as our server, superb, attentive and very personable. Surprising we all chose starters instead starters and entrees. My wife loves crab cakes so she selected the CRISPY JUMBO-LUMP CRAB CAKE, Jicama & Apple Slaw, Chipotle Aioli , excellent. I opted for the SEARED RARE TUNA ,Seaweed Salad, Avocado Wasabi Aioli, Pickled Cucumber, Plum Sweet Soy Emulsion and also the CRISPY CALAMARI, Baby Arugula, Red Onion, and Peach Chili Vinaigrette . Both were superb. We also shared a WARM BAKED BRIE WITH APPLES, Puff Pastry, Organic Greens, Red Seedless Grapes, and Raspberry Coulis, very good. For desserts, tough choice but we chose the Peanut Butter Crunch Cake, unreal and Flourless Chocolate Truffle with Vanilla Gelato. Can't wait to come back to New York and dine at Thyme.

- Easy metered parking with 3 hours minimum allows. - Valet parking available - Get there early or make a reservation. This restaurant fills up fast. - Amazing food with reasonable portion for the hefty price. One of my guests told me, “there is no way you can make this at home.” The salmon and French toasts were our favorite. - Service is lacking. Staff looked burned out within one hour of opening and I felt rushed to finish my food. - Brunch menu does not include coffee (can be ordered separately) and substitution is not allowed.

The vibes in Roslyn neighborhood is quite cozy, slow paced and great for weekend brunch. The decor of Thyme is classy, elegant and great for larger group. We were there as a group of 5 for family gathering right at about 11:30 on a Saturday morning and seated promptly. They served solid new America style brunch with affordable price ($22 with a drink and an entree) and great varieties. However, the food was just okay and not surprised, especially their filet salmon was cooked really dry and grilled asparagus was salty. Our favorite was their complimentary scones, well baked and great with their cinnamon butter.

Went here considering an upcoming event to try the food. The location is lovely and quaint, they had live music, though we ate outside which was pleasant because it was a nice summer evening. The food was fresh and well prepared, fairly priced and the service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.
