We love coming here! Great servers, great food, the only thing we noticed after the renovation the music is way too loud and more like a “top hits” club-like playlist versus a more upscale atmosphere like previously. Maybe just lower the volume some to be able to enjoy dinner more?!
We had an outstanding dining experience at Il Mulino last night. The price fixed menu was extensive and perfect for the two of us.
The atmosphere was elegant and quiet. The service was professional. The food was out of this world. Il Mulino will now be one of our "special occasion" restaurants.
Delicious prix fix Anniversary dinner. Ask for the prix fix (3 courses, $58; Mon-Thu); they didn't offer that menu initially.
Service was impeccable and very fast - 90 minutes - (some might find it too fast). About 12 choices each for Primi and Secondi, and 3 for Dolci.
Plenty of wine choices, although not exceptional, and expensively priced ($90-$300+). We had a cocktaila and glass of wine ($20 each)
One of the best places I have ever eaten in my life! The staff is personable and welcoming, and the overall experience was phenomenal. I just moved to the area and the staff made me feel so welcome.I will definitely be a regular here! David is an amazing waiter and Alex is a great bartender! 12/10 highly recommend!

Located on Northern Blvd (25A) Il Mulino is recognized as one of the premiere Italian restaurants in Long Island.
Hospitality Service - great service from wait staff to managers. Everyone is very kind and friendly.
Culinary Science - well prepped food with quality ingredients used in traditional way. Great wine selection. Ground has a wine cellar in the lower level for private events.
Design- the space is dimly lit with a Tuscan ambience for both exterior and interior. Great setting for a romantic evening with a special someone.
We had a 6pm reservation arrived 40 min early so we started with a cocktail at the bar. Service at the bar as expected perfect. We were served their own chips dusted eith a parmesean garlic powder that were delicious.
We decided to move on to dinner and were seated at a cozy little table for 2 in the right rear of the dining room. If you like it quiet this is a great time to go on a Fri.eve .
We were quickly served our choice of bread some salami bruchetta fresh slices of parmesean marinated fried zucchini slices...and wow what a way to start dinner.
I asked for clams casino which was not on the menu and I was gratefully told checf could make and they were DELICIOUS! My husband had the fried Burrata with plumbs...oh yummm
For my entree I had the chi Chicken Limone which was tender juicy and so flavorful.
My husband had Veal Milanese which was cooked to perfection with a beautiful tasty arugula salad on top.
Drinks were quicky refilled there was never a time you had to look for your waiter.
Ok Desert ....OH MY! I had the poached pears that were arranged on your plate with fresh ricotta and berries by your waiter and let me tell you so tender not overly sweet so worth trying
My husband had the ricotta cheesecake which he said has never had such a tasty one anywhere else...I say Il Mulinos is a go to
.
Food was excellent! Service wasn't great and its veryyyy pricey , but overall worth it. The portions are very large.
Recommended: branzino, octopus salad, pear grappa
Went for a birthday celebration. This restaurant went above and beyond. All the appetizers and entrees were excellent. Waitstaff did a fantastic job.
Excellent food, Excellent service. Let them know what you want and if you don’t like something. There is no humility in spending big money and not getting what you expect. The staff is very accommodating.
An elegant restaurant that has a high-end menu. It is an experience and probably not a restaurant most people would frequent regularly. The staff is very attentive and the food is very good. Portions are modest and as mentioned on the high end
