Hands down best beef brisket and fried okra anywhere. Everything is very tasty.
Great staff!!!!! Amazing people!!!! Great food!!!!
I first learned about this place through a friend!!! He was eating lunch and it looked great guys. When I asked where he’d gotten it first, without hesitation he told me Spice Right with excitement!!! I told myself that I was going to stop in. Being super busy at work today I didn’t have the time to stop and eat. Being a diabetic, I definitely know better but I thought I could make it. Work ran over so I was running on fumes. So I pulled up at Spice Right to grab something but my hand were shaky and I felt a little light headed. My first thought was to call it in and wait in the car for it. But I didn’t know the menu. I waved down an employee in the parking lot and asked for assistance. Without hesitation the gentleman who’s name I didn’t catch grabbed someone one to take my order from the parking lot. He insisted!! He came back with Meghan ( I apologize if I spelled your name wrong) who sprung into action. The amount of great customer service that I received in the parking lot makes me sure that I would have a great experience inside the facility!!!!! My food was great!!!! I will definitely be back. This is a great lunch time spot if you work or live close!!!!! Great place to meet friends for dinner!!!!!! Did I say the staff was amazing!!!!! I can’t say it enough!!!!!!!! Thank you Spice Right!!!!!
It's my favorite BBQ joint around. Any meat and side option is good, and their taco (yes, I said taco) options are darn good too.
Don't leave without getting the banana pudding. It's in plastic cup so you can grab it with a spoon for the road. (Also top notch.)
Family run establishent. Warm and friendly welcome. Ribs, Pulled Pork & Brisket were exactly what I was expecting from a place with a smoker in the parking lot!! I highly recommend a visit!!
I’ll start by saying that I travel a lot. Coast to coast. I’ve had bbq all across America. These guys know how to cook! I had the half rack of ribs, collards, and slaw. Ribs were Smokey, a decently sweet and spicy rub, and cooked to just near “fall off the bone”. Collards had the right amount of seasoning and the slaw had just a hint of sweetness which is how I prefer it. I never tried any sauce because frankly, the ribs didn’t need them. That’s the true measure of how good your ribs are. If you have to smother everything you cook in sauce, you’re failing.
Now, this isn’t fine dinning. This is a place where you eat with your hands. This is blue collar food. Don’t come here and expect to have a waiter serve you a Perrier with lemon. You’re gonna fill your own cup and like it. It’s rough around the edges and I like that. The focus is on the food.
The decor is a mashup of old hubcaps and signs. The booth could use a little padding, but whatever. When I walked in, Black Sabbath was playing on the sound system. It was a nice changup from the usual “Famous Dave’s Radio” I hear everywhere else.
Go here, eat till your stomach hurts. Leave with a sense of accomplishment that you devoured more food than you should have. You’ll wake up tomorrow and say “Those were some damn good ribs!”
Highlights: brisket, pork, every single side dish, service, banana pudding, atmosphere, music
Improvements they've made: new tables, cute baskets to hold condiments instead of beer caddies
Downsides: they aren't open 24/7 nor do they read my mind about what I want and immediately feed it to me and take my money.
Best BBQ in town. Love the brisket! Their banana pudding is to die for....
Best brisket since I left Texas! Service is always great, only place where you can get Texas BBQ with a great Texas beer to chase it down. They have their own sauces, a slightly sweet and a nice spicey one. Baked beans are awesome, my husband always gets the fried okra, if you get in at the right time you may just get some super awesome banana pudding as well!
Great egg, sausage, cheese and biscuit breakfast and very friendly and prompt service
This is one of my favorite BBQ spots and I'm very critical when it comes to good BBQ. The food and service is always great!
The brisket melts in your mouth and the bread pudding is heaven!
DELICIOUS!!!!

Love the food, love the service, and last night we had a great singer
Fantastic catering for 125. From setup to clean up it couldn't have been better. Loved the food with the chicken being my favorite.......perfectly seasoned and cooked.
I love the potato casserole. I have bought it for friends to share the experience and they to agree the hash brown cass is da bomb...ijs...dont take my word for it.
Great food. Ribs were great and so was the okra. :)
we had spiced right cater the food for our daughter's wedding, and not only was the food a huge hit, but the price was very fair, and rob was great to work with! we are sad that you left the Lilburn area, so it was great to be able to eat this delicious food again! thanks so much for your part in making the wedding special.
The hash brown casserole is the best!! I really love the atmosphere inside
Good food,, came here for 2nd time and ready for next
Excellent food and cool place.
I’ve had food catered from here but tonight was my first time in the restaurant. It wasn’t very busy and the people working there were super chill. It’s a cool combo of solid BBQ fare plus technology like electronic menu and Apple Pay.
The brisket was divine and the servings were generous. The sides were okay and I’m still mentally debating the banana pudding. I will definitely go back to try more things including breakfast.
I had been meaning to try Spiced Right for some time. It’s right on the Main street coming into Roswell so I pass it all of the time. It was definitely worth the stop! The brisket was moist and tender. The sauce was tangy and flavorful but not overly spicy (even the “hot” variant). I always test out the Brunswick Stew (an essential!) and it was very good, with excellent flavor and big chunks of meat in there.
There was both indoor and outdoor seating. The only caution is getting in and out because that’s a very busy street, so just be careful.
Give it a try. I will be back!
It's been a long time sense I have stopped at this place. I was driving by the other day and I just had to stop. That amazing smell was pulling me in . This has to be the best bbq I have had in a long time . There pit Master is amazing he cooks with love and it shows. I'm going to make time to come back real soon . The customer service is also top notch. I went when the computer was down and they handled it like pros.
Legendary barbecue for a reason. The meats are smoked on site to a juicy, tender smokiness. The barbecue sauce #3 is divine. Truly some of the best ribs we ever had. Baked beans were sublime tangy-sweetness. The corn souffle was like a super light cornbread with corn nuggets embedded. Okra, Cole slaw, French fries do not disappoint. Do you want to sample some of the south's best BBQ? Get yourself here, or at one of their soon-to-open 2 new locations in the area, and enjoy!
I love spiced right a lot. For a BBQ shop there is so much more to it. I have used them frequently for tacos, cinnamon rolls, and breakfast sandwiches as well as just lunch for myself or with co workers. The people are friendly and accommodating and the food is just crazy delicious. Cannot recommend enough. I saw they just added chicken and waffles to their menu...I cannot wait to try that one. Recommend. Recommend. Recommend.
This BBQ joint was INCREDIBLE. This was our first time and we were so impressed about how friendly the staff were. They recommended getting the brisket and ribs which did not disappoint. The brisket was our favorite (moist, juicy, and tender). We had mac and cheese (so creamy) and corn Soufflé However, the star of the side show was the Brunswick Stew was *chef's kiss* and the best I've ever had. Sweet tea was so good too. Can't wait to come back on our next roadtrip now that we found this gem ♡
We have been coming to this location for 13 years. It has been consistently amazing all of those years. If that's not a testament, I don't know what is! We no longer live in the area, but always stop by if we're close. I almost cried tears of joy when we got to come here today. Thank God for being back in the South, where BBQ is done right! Spiced Right! 🙌 PS: The fried okra is a must.
I’ve been coming here for over a decade. They have a solid bbq offering, some of the best fries in town and now a pretty delicious nacho plate. Price is family friendly for bbq and they occasionally have live music (Or at least used too)! Definitely recommend if you are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area.
