Great Chicago Hot dog's,burgers,Italian beef and awesome fries. They have a large menu here of delicious favorites!! Staff is very nice along with prices being reasonable. We will be back!!
Good fast food made fresh to order. A very clean establishment with a friendly staff. If all Sammie's locations are as good as this one then I'll probably become a regular.
What more can I say, great food great service great atmosphere!!! They are genuine with the appreciation they show. You can see it in the staff, food preparation, and service. Highly recommend them.

Delicious Food and very well maintained restaurant. The staff here is phenomenal and was helping me find my lost card even though they never had too.

Excellent experience! Friendly staff, clean dining room, delicious fresh- made food. The chicken fajita pita was A-MAZING! Chocolate shake was soooooo good! Yum!!
Was really in the mood for an old fashioned hotdog and Sammies didn't disappoint!
Took about 7 mins to get my order, fries were real potatoes and not some frozen bag, and the staff was very friendly.
The only bad thing I could say is that they aren't open 24/7 so that type of joy could be possible anytime.

Consistently good food. On par with Portillo's. Don't like their chili in the chili cheese dog. Dreamsicle shake is amazing.
Decent food and the service is good. Seven minutes to receive my food from the time I ordered, which is good. Why I give a "4" is to me what they offer is overpriced. Take for example the prefixes of "1/2, 1/3, or Double" with regards to their Samburg. I would assume the "1/2" would mean .5 lbs of beef, which is incorrect. My take.

I grew up on the North West side by Portage Pk. and we used to ride our bikes to Sammies little stand to buy "Gravy Bread" for a quarter. It was French bread dipped in the beef juice it was cheap and we loved it. But when your talking HOT DOGS I might be partial but Sammie's WINS HANDS DOWN! Other joints might have hand cut fries but Sammie's adds an extra condiment that as far as I know no one else adds, no it's NOT KETCHUP. Along with the usual mustard, onions, bright green relish, tomatoes, pickle, sport peppers and celery salt on a poppy seed bun Sammie's adds fresh cucumbers and believe me it makes all the difference in the world. Sammie's is no longer in the city and that's fine cause neither am I so they have several locations that I can still enjoy their dogs at. Give one a try, you'll see the difference. Best fast(er) food in Lake County. I love their gyro, its my favorite! The fries are done perfectly and are fresh cut, not sitting under some heat lamp. A go-to place for a quick and delicious bite!

We always get the gyros here. It's very good! I especially like their fried mushrooms! Their Italian sub sandwich is pretty big and a good value, although it was pretty soggy the last time I had one. My wife usually get's the polish which she recommends.
