Called RM for a special birthday catering order. Christian was a pleasure to work with and was extremely communicative. Order was ready on time and delicious. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.
Every time I can , I love to stop at Rowaton Market, it is not only placed in a town I love, but also the Terrance has an amazing view of the water, the shore and the sunset.
They have an amazing kitchen, with elaborate food to go, but also a market with an interesting selection and even better brands to choose from. Meat, bread, cheese, sushi, yogurt, flowers, you name it.
Also a coffee spot to get a tastefully one and enjoy the view.
The staff is professional and efficient.

Went for lunch and had a curried chicken salad sandwich on gluten-free bread, which was nice to find available. Took home a delicious Shepherd's pie for dinner, big enough for 3 meals for me!

They have some great breakfast sandwiches and quiches to go along with the coffee.
If you're able to get a seat outside, it's worth sitting out there to watch the boats and the water whilst drinking your coffee and having your breakfast.
Sandwiches are prepped in advance unless requested to be made fresh. The daily special was warmed and was nice n spicy and had a good flavor. I think I would have rather ordered specific vs. The Special as the chicken was more breading than chicken or protein balance.
This place has a beautiful porch in back which over looks a river and boats. Great food. Had the salmon bagel.

Huge variety of precooked foods, and groceries always quick, excellent quality. Nice deck overlooking the 5 Mile River, quite picturesque.
Rowayton Market has very good coffee. The back porch overlooking the Five Mile River is a big plus and is open in most seasons. Coleslaw is excellent. Deli sandwiches are pricey but large and very good.
