The restaurant has been remodeled since we last visited many years ago. It's a little brighter and more open than before. As usual, the restaurant is not crowded, and we're seated right away. This is a Buddhist vegetarian restaurant where they do not use garlic, onion, scallion, leek, and chives. M
The food served here is basically the same as the stuff served at the Happy Family restaurants. I would say that the quality is slightly better, but the prices are definitely higher. I usually don't care to rate the service at a Chinese restaurant, but my order is usually wrong or missing something.

Didn't even offer water, a very common commodity at all restaurants. Brought tea once. Food looks unappetizing, would only touch the rice. Dishes unclean. Very little room to eat. Very expensive (4 appetizer lettuce wraps are $10).
great vegetarian place, with a nice mix of common "veggie" items (like kung pao chicken and some stir-fried tofu) to some more specialized items (such as a "ham" sandwich). all in all, a worthwhile experience, and recommended if you are vegetarian--or even if you're not and just want to get away fro
