I've just discovered Rolling Wok a couple months ago and let me tell you, I am amazed. I've missed this authentic, home-style Chinese/Taiwanese fast food. First of all, the choices are great. There are so many dishes to choose from and so far from what I've tried, all of them are very yummy. I wasn't able to snap a pic of all the dishes but there are many more than this.
Second, the prices are unbeatable. You cannot get this quality food for this price anywhere else. Very cheap but very yummy!! I see lots of complaints about price increases but with the increase of many factors, it's inevitable. Not just for RW but other stores too. The thing is that it's still very cheap and the food is high quality enough that you are not wasting money. I cannot find a place that can match this price and quality. Even large fast food Chinese food chains have terrible quality but is more expensive than RW. I'm definitely choosing RW.
Lastly, I love how rice and soup are optional and can be added on for a small extra cost. Usually at these three dish + one rice places, rice is already included, but sometimes I have rice at home and don't want. I love how I can add it on if I want it. Not to mention, the soup is AMAZING it reminds me so much of what I had when I was younger. The soup is a soft but tasty clear-ish soup with corn, egg, cabbage, onion, and another vegetable I believe.
The workers are always moving very quickly so even if there's a long line the wait is not long at all. They are always very sweet as well. I highly recommend! It's definitely worth it.

There are a variety of foods I can choose from . From meat like chicken ,pork and beef, to seafood like fish , fried fish . I love that the restaurant provides so many different vegetables to choose from . There are like over 40 menus of authentic Chinese foods that can satisfy my everyday tastes . Most of all, the items are super fresh and tasty . Even though its price is super reasonable that three entrees cost only $7.58 ,the quality of the food is beyond my expectation. The only drawback here is cash payment only .

I stumbled into this place on my way to GW Supermarket and thought I'd give it a try. And it turned out to be such a big mistake. Food was just ok. I gave 2 stars because they had many selections. In addition, the people weren't nice. They didn't speak English well so it was hard to understand them. Another thing was that in their combo, they count the fried rice and noodle as one item. In any other places, when they say a combo, for example 2 items combo means you get rice or noodle and 2 sides such as orange chicken and broccoli beef. However, at Rolling Wok that's not how it works and they don't tell you that 2 items combo means rice or noodle and 1 side (for example) orange chicken. Or you just don't get the rice or noodle and pick 2 items. The point is, rice or noodle count as 1 item. We went around and around because I didn't understand her and she didn't feel like explaining it to me and just kept saying 3 items? So 4? 3? Then she started to dump my other item back. After I paid, they started to talk behind my back. They didn't know that I was Chinese, they probably thought I was other Asian and I understood what they said behind my back. I didn't say anything and just walked out because I didn't want to waste my breath. It was just so confusing and upsetting. I will never come back here again.

Inflation and People are fine with restaurants increasing a minimum of $2 for dishes but not ok with the store charging cheap prices for the rice and soup because this is Chinese fast food? Double standard much.
$8.5 for 3dishes and rice, varieties of dishes. It's just fast food and people are expecting service. I guess some dislike it because dishes are not as sweet as Panda.

My complaint is that their fish are too salty/unhealthy. The price is going up too much. $9.8 for 3 items with rice, soup and milk tea as of 2022/5. $10.46 as of 2022/7. It was around $8 for a long time

For thoes people giving low review:
This is the cheapest place you can eat in probably the USA for $7 you get 3 dishes and you demand services? Do you ask service when you go to McDonald's? The food is OK and clean and feeds you. This is a solid 5 stars

Legit Chinese Chinese food (not Americanized) for under $7! They put so much effort into making all those hot plates ready. How can anyone complain? I've been coming here for the last year and it's a long overdue review. Come to get filled if you're hungry. It's not high end fancy cooking, but certainly a good option for an immediate lunch. Don't be a jerk and expect Zagat-Michelin level food for the price of a frappuccino

Authentic traditional chinese food. Taste better than places like Panda Express. Very generous servings. Lots of options to choose from. Prices are reasonable.
