Belgian waffle and Mega breakfast was great. Disappointed by coffee though. Improving coffee quality would make this place perfect.

Really enjoyed. We ate here on 1/26/2014 and really enjoyed our breakfast! My wife had French toast and said it was really good. I had the breakfast skillet. Food and service were both fantastic!
Yum. We had to wait 30+ minutes for a seat and it was worth it. Our party had a variety or dishes including pancakes, French Toast, Belgium waffle and a smothered burrito. All tasty! Our server was great. Very personable and efficient. We awed at the servers balancing 5-6 plates on one arm. They obviously know what they are doing.
A gem in the mountains. My boyfriend and I have visited Ruidoso for the last two winters. The most recent was about a week ago. It is our favorite brunch place on the mountains. There is a wonderful ambience of comfort at the Log Cabin. The food is always five stars. We stopped by after a morning of horseback riding and we chose more Mexican flavors... though rather spicy, the huevos rancheros was addictively delicious. The log cabin is our "must go" restaurants now.
This is by far the best breakfast in Ruidoso. Every time we are in town we have to eat here more than once. The buttermilk pancakes are delicious and their sausage links are the best I've ever tasted. There is always a line out the door, but it goes fast and the food is definitely worth the wait. Give this a try and you won't eat breakfast anywhere else!!
Traditional breakfast fare with lots of menu choices and specials for the day. Buttermilk pancakes are huge, as big as the plate!
Busy but worth it.. Had breakfast there this morning with the family. Everything was excellent. Will be back tomorrow.
Excellent. Friendly staff, delicious and very generous portions. The buttermilk pancakes were the best I ever had, although I made the mistake of ordering two. One would have been sufficient. Friendly service. Problems arise because it is so good and so popular.

Go to place for Breakfast. This is the only place for a good hearty breakfast. The serving sizes are huge and I can never finish it. The omletes are yummy and the service is great. The kids love the choc. chip panckes.

Perfect Breakfast. This is my favorite place to eat breakfast anywhere. Log Cabin serves basic breakfast food about as well as you can, and I love the warm atmosphere of the place. Whenever my wife and I visit Ruidoso it is a given that we'll have breakfast at the Log Cabin. It's one of the reasons we come to Ruidoso!
I am blown away at the customer service care and culture of this restaurant. We had to step away and lost our spot in line and they were gracious enough to seat us immediately. I knew we were dealing with something special at that moment. Our server Sterling was knowledgeable kind and super attentive what a great guy!! Now onto the food. The French toast was amazing! Coffee was tasty as well! But the star here was the Shrimp Eggs Benedict what a treat for the tastebuds. You can tell this restaurant uses high quality ingredients! The pancakes were absolutely amazing as well! Pair this with the cute cabin mountain vibe and decor and this restaurant is a 10/10! Thanks for reminding me that quality home cooked meals and good customer service can still be had at wonderful establishments like this!
Stopped here on our way back to Texas. Food was great. Good old fashioned comfort food and the portions were huge. The service was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
We wanted to try some thin different this time and decided on this place. Glad we did!
Greeted by smiling friendly faces, the wait was normal for a Saturday morning, and the decor was fun to look at.
The FOOD IS SO GOOOOOOD! Had the stuffed French toast and the Greek omelet. Oh man! Heaven!

Great service and great food. We enjoyed our breakfast so much we went back again today before we left town. The patio was so relaxing to enjoy our meal on!
The huevos rancheros plate was really good, the strawberry’s on the pancakes were not good if they were fresh strawberries it would of taste better, also the hollandaise sauce was not good I would not order that again. Overall I would eat here again just not order the strawberry’s or the pouched eggs with hollandaise sauce again.
Parking on the 4th was a hassle, it was packed, 30 minute wait, forgot hash browns, but it was good food. The staff were friendly. Ignoring the fact that it was a holiday I had a great time and enjoyed the food.
