Love the atmosphere, food and wine selection. You can not go wrong with a burger, recommend The Boss and the tenderloin or roasted chicken tacos are amazing. Excellent wine selection. Love the patio option as well. It's a must stop when we are in town.
We were greeted and seated right away, I had brough my dog Mojo with me so we sat out on the nice patio. The manager was so nice he had brought my dog out water in a clean dog dish, then the waitress came out and was on point throughout the whole visit. We were thanked by the manager for coming and the food was excellent. I had the spinach avocado juicy burger. Very nice place and the only pet friendly place in town❤️
Top notch food and outstanding staff. I always feel at home when I eat here. I highly recommend anything and everything on the menu.
My wife amd I both had a grilled chicken meal and it was oh so good. From the portabello mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, and spinach on my plate to the chipotle sauce, avocado, and romaine lettuce on my wife's plate. The ambiance was very intimate and inviting. We'll definitely be going back next time we're in town.
We're so very pleased with the food here! We would definitely recommend it for a date and if you like meals with a medium or strong southwest spicy flare. Even though I've lived in NM for a while now and Texas beforehand, I'm not a huge fan of southwestern or spanish/mexican cuisine when eating out usually. Most are bland and not well done. This place rocks it! It is definitely worth every dime spent. They have a great location, upscale atmosphere, and years worth of experience that shows! Take note of their hours and dine accordingly. They're closed in the later afternoon. I've missed out several times because of this. Go for regular lunch or dinner hours. You'll be glad you did!
My most favorite place to eat. We travel an hour each way to eat here. Service, food and atmosphere is great. Everything is freshly cooked, which is worth the wait.

We loved this place! Our server was excellent. The food was clean and fresh. I had the Mahi Taco and the Portabello Mushroom Taco. Everyone at our table loved their food as well. We will definitely be back!
The green chili enchiladas are to die for! The servers were perfect! I would most definitely be back!
We passed through Ruidosa today on our road trip back home. It is difficult to find places to stop when you have two dogs with you. We found Grill Caliente on Bring Fido. They were so accommodating and took great care of all of us! They brought water for the dogs, came to love on them, and had plenty of smiles for our 15 month old. The food and service were fantastic! We will definitely visit again if we are in Ruidosa.
Hands down this is the BEST restaurant in Ruidoso! If you are looking for superior service and fabulous food, this is the number one place!!

I’ve never had as great of an Mani Taco outside of Hawaii than the one I ate at Grill Caliente! Pleasant atmosphere, warm staff, and beyond amazing food and desserts!! This is a great place to hang out with family or come out to relax! Highly recommended!!!!
Excellente! Was in town for a visit and the wife wanted some food with green chiles. We had the fried chiles as an appetizer and it really hit the spot. Crispy, good flavor, and super fresh!

The evening we went there, showed up right after dinner service opened but had to put our name in for a reservation at 7:30. It was no issue for us; that being said, try to get a reservation.
First off this place's food was good. Could the service and menu be better? Absolutely. Our waitress was very sweet but only checked on us when we had to wave her down for a refill. The place is much smaller and it feels a little crammed. As far as the menu goes, I felt that the prices were fair but if you have a family of 5 like me expect to drop over 100.00 without dessert. Also they only have 2 dessert options which was a bummer but they were a good price. Overall, I liked it and I'll come back again. 😃
Always such a wonderful experience and incredible food. Staff is always so friendly & efficient. We recently had a horrible experience at another local restaurant with our friends for their 21st anniversary and ended up leaving before they even brought out the food. I immediately called Grill Caliente and spoke with Evelyn, she was so friendly and helpful. She told us to head her direction and she would have a table ready. Excellent customer service. Made a horrible night, wonderful with one phone call and great food.
Great stop, have driven by this place many times..now we are asking why we did not stop sooner. Nothing but good things to say.
Seated quickly, wait staff were "On It"..very attentive. Never once did we run out of water/ iced Tea. Came by multiple times before our meal came out. Can't compliment the wait staff enough..
Food was great, one of the better meals we have experienced in Ruidoso. Lunch meals at least. Look forward to coming back here for dinner if lunch is indicative of what to expect..great place, will be back for sure.

Not as many options as I would like. The hamburger was good. Brownie with pineapple ring on top was a little surprising and the size was good too, would have been nice to know what was on before we ordered two. But the brownie w/o the pineapple was 😋.
