Cree Meadows Country Club - Ruidoso - Photo album

Played here lots in the late 90s and early 2000s. Had fond memories, went last weekend and course was in rough shape. Cartpath is primitive at best, lack of rain, wild horses and other animals (picture of horses eating 14th green) have taken a toll. This place need some maintenance for sure. Hope
I like the course. It’s rarely crowded. Don’t really need a tee time. Yes, could be better maintained but all in all it’s a decent course for the simple ease of getting out and smacking some balls around at a reasonable price. Everyone in the pro shop has been very nice and helpful. If you’re a seri
This course can be challenging having to hit shots up hill, down hill avoiding trees on the middle of the fairway, plus some on the side. The rough can be thick grass high enough to search for your ball, or a dry rough surface. Mind you, you will not find a nice mowed grass fairway. The fairway is d
Was very disappointed in the course. No warning whatsoever of the horrible shape the course was in. Played here 10 years ago and absolutely loved it, this year course conditions were awful, greens were hairy, hadn’t been cut in about a week, fringe was overgrown. This was on the holes that didn’t ha
Sadly it was not what I expected. I was here in March 2022. The course is in bad shape. All 18 holes have temporary greens. The actual greens are full of sand and overgrown grass. The cart path is in terrible shape. Beautiful scenery but the course needs to be maintained.
Course not in great shape at all. All greens were overgrown and bumpy, and fairways were either all dirt or overgrown also. Definitely overpriced for the condition the course was in. Has the potential to be a fun course, if taken care of properly but don’t think we will return any time soon.
Second time to play here in last 3 years. Came up from San Antonio to play a few courses. Do not expect this to be in tip top shape. It is a challenging course and would be much better if maintenance was better. Fairways specifically. Had to move ball around a lot just to find something to hit off o
Probably the worse course conditions I’ve ever seen. And at $57 without a cart, it is a big waste money. Greens in some cases were overrun and essentially non-existent. Spend just a little more somewhere else that cares about the condition of the course.
