The ramen was amazing, you can tell when you go in and the place is packed the food is good. Rarely have I gone to a restaurant and the food comes looking out the same as the picture, it was so much better. I'm planning to sample everything on the menu. Add two eggs to your dish one is not enough.

Amazing every time! It’s rare that I have to wait, but usually no more than 10 minutes. Always worth the wait. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I’ve probably been more than five times now, but my first visit the staff was very helpful in helping me navigate through the menu and learn the choices. Every time I go, I order something different.

Great Ramen. It's the closest thing to the Ramen in Japan. The Chahan or Japanese fried sticky rice was excellent! It's not on the menu but if you request it they will make it for you.

We could tell as soon as my brother and I walked up that this was a great place because there was a long line out the door! It was well worth the wait. Service was great and food was incredible. We were served big portions that were unexpected, but definitely welcome. Definitely give it a visit if you're in Sacramento (~10 mins from Sac State)!

Best ramen house in Sacramento. The seafood ramen is the shiz. The fried oysters in Panko crumbs are great for an appetizer, as well as the gyoza. “Winter” in Sac is pretty mild, but it’s still a great excuse to grab a warm bowl of ramen.

My hot wife and I had an amazing dinner last night. My tan tan man was delicious. I had double noodles. My hot wife had the Kara and she loved it. We also had 2 appetizers. Dinner was under $39.

We come here whenever we are in town. It’s our first stop because we just haven’t found a Ramen place we like as much since we moved to Reno.

I don't eat pork so I rarely go to a Ramen place because rarely do you find one that serves chicken but when you do, their chicken ramen is usually not good. I almost gave up on my search for a good chicken ramen until a friend told me about this place. All I can say is, OH MY GOD, the Karamiso Ramen was great!

My girlfriend and I waited 15 minutes to be seated at the bar. I had the Black (Kuro) Tonkotsu ramen. Wish I could of have order extra ramen but it was well worth the wait. Will go again soon and order extra ramen noodle or go for two.

Absolutely outstanding food. Highly recommended! Ramen is so right from the correct tooth of the noodles to the subtle flavors in the miso. So, so good! Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

This is my absolute favorite ramen spot I've ever been too. I've tried ramen in Seattle and LA and no where compares to this place.

I like to give 5 stars because of their authentic ramen and the customer service I've experienced for 2 days. I thought I wouldn't come back because downtown is complicated in terms of parking but I was surprised that they have huge parking lot and thanks to Safeway 😂.

Just stopped by for a drink after shopping at a nearby store. This place was quite busy for a Sunday in the late afternoon. There was a wait when I arrived. Probably around 5 groups in front of me. Thankfully I just came for a quick drink to warm up before I walked back home. The server was very prompt in taking my order once I sat down. The host at front let me get sat and skip the wait which was pretty awesome of them considering how many people were waiting. It was just me so I don't think it would have happened that way if there was a bigger party. Nevertheless the vibes were cool and pretty chill. A bowl of Ramen on a cold Fall night is just what one needs sometimes. I'll definitely be back.

This was tough to judge between a 4 or 5. Very good however I've had better; not in Sacramento. Definitely GOOD. Ordered the vegetarian Ramen. Huge portion. Definitely on the healthy side which I love. I wish they had a spicy option. I ordered hot sauce which was not very good. A great hot sauce would have elevated to a 5 easily. Nice neighborhood Ramen. Nice patio, lots of traffic.

12/2023 crowded still provides excellent service, good food. Hopefully, they would open another location with a bigger dining space. Tried chicken karaage, tonkotsu ramen, and kyu don (beef with rice). All are delicious, recommended. 2021 Good experience. We arrived around 6pm, crowed, many togos. Outside still had seats, only waited 10-15mins for two inside seats. Food came out quickly and tasted good. Servers are courteous. Recommended.

Was craving ramen while traveling in Sacramento. Knowing there’s more of a food vibe and larger Asian population in California, did a search and found this place and seemed to have good reviews. My family is from the Hakata region in Japan so I love tonkotsu ramen. Had the garlic tonkotsu ramen and it was delicious. Tasted pretty close to the real thing. Not quite 100% there, but pretty close. Also had the gyoza there and that tasted pretty authentic Japanese style and give it a 10/10. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a hidden treasure! The customer service is exceptional, but what truly stands out is the food. The menu offers incredibly flavorful options with generous portions for the price. The fried dishes are not oily and burst with flavor, eliminating the need for additional sauces or additives. The atmosphere is warm and intimate. I find myself craving their food often, and I highly recommend anyone to visit at least once to experience what I'm raving about.

Busy place but worth it... my only downfall is how they'll rush you to order BUT I'll still go back because nobody can rush me if I'm not ready to order so I really have no complaints... this place is 5 star to me most definitely.

We ordered Ika Fry, (Shiro) White Tonkotsu Ramen, (Kuro) Black Tonkotsu Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, and Kids Ramen. The food was good and there were several different Tonkotsu flavors to choose from. This place was packed even an hour before closing time and we had a 10-minute wait. We had a party of 10 and they had to split us up into 2 booths to get us seated. We appreciate them fitting us in. Great service.

The Best Ramen in Sac for me. Have had ramen at a lot of places in Sac / Northern Cal, and this one a cut above. Really like the broth and the big bowl will take care of you.

Our usual spot for some Ramen. Quite a few different options and always taste great. Place is usually busy and outdoor patio has a generous amount of seating as well. I tried a rice dish first time today & it was pretty good. It was fried port with egg on top of rice but I think Ramen is what they are known for so I’d recommend trying that. Also serve beer/wine/saki so that’s a plus!

I ordered the vegetable ramen and added an egg. It was really salty and the green noodles weren’t my favorite. The service was very good and my husband liked his ramen.

What a delightful find! Lunch was so filling I had no room for dinner. Loved every bite. I didn't even know I liked ramen. The egg had the most amazing flavor!

The place is very cozy and welcoming! The prices on the noodles are around $11 and they have a few options on side dishes with child menu options. There are limited seats but no reservations are needed, and the staff are all so nice! If you're looking for a nice noodles place with beautiful, runny, yellow egg yolks, I definitely recommend giving this place a try! Definitely would recommend!

One of the best ramen houses in Sacramento! They can get super busy on the weekends, but it’s worth the extra wait. Once you’re seated the food comes out very quickly and it’s delicious every time.
