This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast. I personally appreciate that I have the option of fried rice in the morning. I tend to order the same meal - loco moco and a pancake. The portion is always hearty which is great for a second meal. And pancake... heavenly. I don't know how they do it, but they somehow create a crispy crust. Drooling just thinking about it. Weekends can get incredibly busy so arrive early or hit up Harry's on a weekday.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a chicken breast fried steak on the menu. Tried it and absolutely loved it!! The portion size was good and I would really like to try the other asian breakfast items they have on the menu next time I'm in the area. There wasn't a wait when we came at around 10am on a Saturday, which is a great plus!
Sad to hear about this place shutting down by the end of the year. Had to try out there spam fried rice with eggs which is the number 41 I think. The fried rice w/ spam and scrambled was pretty damn good I would say it's a 9/10. Seen alot of other food I wanted to try out but I felt like I just wanted to try out there fried rice because I'm pretty sure this place is pretty known for that and as many of there other dishes as well. I wanted to support them while they're still open before they shut down so if any of you guys see this before the year ends please try out this locally owned spot if you haven't yet. They have all types of food from rice dishes to breakfast american food and even breakfast asian food. They took about 10 minutes to make my order which is pretty fast and great tbh
This is a great joint. Where can you get fried rice with an egg and the best pancakes ever made ?? Get down here and try this place for a casual dining experience. Thank you ❤️
This place is amazing and a local favorite breakfast / lunch spot, seating area is a little small but the food makes up for any waiting if any I've been about three times and have only had to wait about 5-20 minutes at most. I seem to get the same dish every time it's the Loco Moco and having a friend/family that had this back in Hawaii this dish does not disappoint!!!
I highly recommend Harrys Cafe. The Asian Breakfast was fabulous. Very flavorful and filling. I had the eggs over a hamburger patty with vegetables and rice. It almost had a southern vibe to it!
Honestly my favorite pancakes in town! A must try if you’re in the mood; fluffy, crispy, delicious. They’re open for take right now.

House special with the egg over easy. Hands down my go to dish regardless of the time of day. Love it!!
Great breakfast with lots of veggies; I’m sad they are closing for good in a week or so
This place was absolutely fantastic. I ordered corn beef hash, substituted the eggs for bacon, 2 pancakes and fried rice with bbq pork. The meal was ready within 10 mins of ordering and all items were hot. The flavors were also amazing. I hope to be back when they do accept dine in to give a second review with photos.
I Love their Hawaiian Food. It really is good. Love their Spam and also their French Toast is pretty good. If u haven't tried them, then u must if your in downtown. Order ahead and pick up. The guy that that takes your money is really nice too. My family and I order from them a lot. Their Vietnamese Rice Noodle dishes are also good.
Harry's is always delicious. Moco loco and French toast were delicious.
Their food is consistently very good. Tried their chicken pho for the first time today and it was really good. At some restaurants their chicken is rubbery and way overcooked but not here. Also, they give you a nice amount of big chunks of chicken. I would definitely order it again and recommend others to try it.
Hawaiian #1 was delish... pancakes are a must here, as the not like anywhere else!
We love this place. Harry is not much of a conversationalist, probably a bit of a curmudgeon like me, but he is quietly friendly and the food is very good. If you have read any of my reviews before, you know I really like my coffee. Harry has excellent strong coffee.
His place is on the smallish side, but its intimate, and has good street parking. It is on 16th, so if you're going during rush hour, watch out for commuter traffic.
Went there today after placing the order by phone first. Got there to find that the person taking my order thought I said 2:30 when I said 12:30. No worries, as Harry came out and got our order right away. Fresh and hot, and absolutely amazing! BBQ Pork chow mein and Mongolian chicken/rice. The portions are huge (2 dishes are enough for like 3 people!) and the ingredient quality is excellent for the $$. Honestly some of the best Chinese food you'll find, and Harry's such a nice guy, too.
COVID-supportive too. He's wearing a mask. You pick up outside only. Grab and go in a hurry. No problem.
Will be returning soon to support this little gem.
We went here for breakfast and loved it! The food was great and the service was excellent. For example, when the owner noticed my 3 year old son admiring the whipped cream on my wife's waffle, he offered to add some to my son's pancake. It was a really nice thing to do!
The food is really good and unique, but they have no idea what an over medium or over hard egg are, so prepare for over easy even if you send it back and ask for them to cook it more. I normally don't send back food, but when I visited, I was pregnant, and could not eat undercooked eggs. The eggs they brought out were nearly raw even after I sent them back.
