Very good food! My husband and I were very happy with the food- freshness, portions, and taste- as well as the fresh salsa and chips.
A friend recommended El Balcon and it was an instant hit! I've returned multiple times because all the food is very delicious. I specifically wanted to write about the juices because finding a restaurant that serves fresh squeezed juice in the area is so rare and your juices are so totally awesome! I would recommend this location to everybody! Thank you!!!
Que Rico - how delicious! Best tacos in the area, hands down. After my first time, all I wanted was more taco, please - quiero mas tacos, por fa. I got 2 reg asada y 2 reg carnitas also the 2 hard tacos combo for my brother (It comes with a mild red sauce, we asked without it). They have all your favorites, a free chip and salsa bar & a real bar BAR, I think too. If you're considering going to Aldeberto's or California Burrito down the street, just come here instead. Seriously, I backpacked in Mexico for a month y estos tacos es igual - these tacos are the same. Or maybe even better than some of the tacos carts, if I'm being honest. Well, don't take my word, come find out for yourself!
The is place is huge inside. You could have a party here for sure. The counter person was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. They have a nice picture board of the entrees they offer. The food came out quick and it was yummy. The salsa and chips were ordinary. I will try them again. Prices were very reasonable. Stop here for lunch and have a nice time.
This is legit my favorite Taqueria in north sac. Food on point my favorite is the ceviche and the staff friendly and they have fast service. My sister got nachos big enough for all of us to share. I can’t wait to go back
They gave me too much tasty food, so I ate it all and now my tummy is sore. Delicious chorizo breakfast burrito with classic greasy-bag tortilla chips. The lighting is perfect inside, a bit dim, which gives it a cozy, homey vibe. Could have stayed all afternoon. Door Dash if you must, but you'd be missing out.

I particularly like the carnitas here and the chips and salsa options. Sometime soon, I will be back to try the ice cream shop in the back of the restaurant.
Today was my first visit. I had two grilled chicken tacos with everything but one was enough. Price was $4.49 each. Best tacos I've ever had! A little spicy but not too spicy.
From Texas, never expected to have a Mexican style breakfast and been pleased with it in North Cali. Caught me full on by surprise! I’d eat here again for sure!!

Taqueria El Balcon is relatively new to the neighborhood; it's only been open 7 months. They have a great menu! Order at the register area and then find a seat. There is a very nice chips and salsa bar! We ordered 2 taco salads (1 shredded beef, 1carnitas), a super burrito & guacamole. The food was good! The carnitas get an extra nod because it was great! The only boo was the guacamole. It wasn't massed avocado, but more like avocado slaw. That's a Nope!

Fresh squeezed juice...beer and wine.
I ordered the shredded chicken nachos. They came in a Styrofoam to go box...
A huge bed of chips covered with cheese...chicken...pico...guacamole...sour cream...and jalapeños...
It for sure is enough for two meals.
They offer outside seating during covid.
I recommend this place...it is delicious 😋.
Love this new spot! Low key atmosphere, very tasty food, good portions, good variety of alcohol, etc etc! My kiddos also love their kids menu that includes a pretty tasty hamburger and fries. They serve a good Mexican breakfast too if that's your craving, and have good catering options. Check them out!!
Best Mexican food ever! Even for big parties they did huge order for a birthday party and great deal and great food! I go least 1 time a week for tacos and a margarita! Very fast to !
