First time since the remodel and attended the Sacramento Anime, and I truly enjoyed the event. Love the New Look and I didn’t realize how huge the convention center was until I looked at how many steps I did just from the the event. 20K steps! Worth returning to again and again!
The vendors were delightful and offered so many different things that you wouldn’t see otherwise. The actors were super friendly and kind. The entire experience was fun and enjoyable. See you next year!
I go to many events in many convention centers, and this one is nicer than most. In particular, their catered meals were way better than average. I dare say it was actually good consistently. Kudos to the great staff.
Recently attended Legislative Day with California Association of Realtors hosted at the SAFE Credit Union Convention and it was lit. I loved how big and roomy it is. It was able to hold 2500 Realtors. If you’re looking for a place to host events, this is a great spot for it.
Attended Ain't to Proud to Beg n loved it. Ushers were helpful in locating my seat. Didn't look like there were any bad seats. Wished there were more bathrooms but they were all working.
The place is nice, I only wish they accepted cash in the food section. We went there for the Pokémon regionals.
Nice place for my convention, the only thing l didn't like it, is the strong fumigation odor in every single room. Here, you can visit a Starbucks with out go outside. There's a lot of small Restaurants to eat in K Street.
This is a very nice event center. There were multiple events occurring at once and you'd never know it. The meeting spaces are up to date with great sound systems and staff to assist make your event successful.
The conference I attended included catered lunch each day and coffee and snacks throughout the day. The food was great. They made sure that vegetarian options were available and the choices were tasty. The bathrooms were consistently cleaned and stocked. My only critique is that many of us noticed that the building rocked and swayed a lot. If standing still the rocking mimicked being on a cruise ship. We were on the second floor, if that matters.
Really big, could use a bit more seating for those waiting in lines. Overall, that was my only complaint, which isn't a big deal. We went to sacanime and it was a wonderful experience. The place was pretty clean despite there being so many people! Would go again!

Attended a 3 day convention of Jehovah's Witnesses with the theme "Exercise Patience ".
Fantastic experience. Nearly 3000 people of all sorts, and not one fight. There was a bathroom shutdown for a few hours, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.
I was there for the Educating for Careers Conference 2017. It was extremely organized. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. It was amazing how they fed thousands of people quickly and efficiently. The staff also set up and took down both breakfast and lunch for thousands of guests all within a few hours. The building itself is beautiful and the sculpture inside is intricate.
Great place for the anime convention as the center is large and all of the amenities are extremely nice and very up to date. Staff could be a bit nicer though with crowd control and I wish their was an intercom system as it can hard to hear and confusing with such a large crowd!!!!
Great place for conferences! Great location and plenty of parking around! Food around the convention center is really good as well! On a break you can walk the capital grounds because they are right across the street!
Absolutely beautiful renovations! There were a few places here that used to look a bit shabby, but no more. Getting into the theater was easy, even with covid restrictions - it really didn't take any longer, since most people were prepared. Everything looked and sounded great!

The security staff is what makes the experience good or bad. For the most part, the security staff was great. They were firm but the tone and language they communicated orders with were not irritating or disrespectful. There was one fat woman that was rude at the very start. I was putting on my wrist band in a lobby and she told my family we couldn't hang around there. I had things out of my bag and my wife said we'll leave in just a minute. Obviously, I have to gather my things. The woman snapped back and said that if she tells us to leave then that means we leave. We did leave, of course...after I gathered my things up. Thankfully, her rude behavior was offset by the kindness and professionalism shown by the rest of the staff.
I was here for Sac Anime Winter 2023 and it was super fun to meet my favorite anime voice actors including other anime fans. I highly recommend dressing up! Here is a picture of the line surrounding the building before the event opened. The location was good and there is parking nearby from all sides. I parked at the memorial parking garage and walked over without an issue. The location is great, lots of food nearby.
