As always Plan B did not disappoint. We went here for a first anniversary dinner and it was just as momentous as the first time we came here. I started with the pear soup which was delicious. I had the steak frites and my BF had the osso buco which was absolutely magnificent. The flavors melded so wonderfully and it was well balanced. For dessert we had the caramel apple tarte tartan. Another excellent course. Overall, it was a lovely dinner for us to treasure.

Good food & good service. I started with butternut squash soup then i ordered the coconut muscles with a side of the rosemary French fries & a glass of French Rosé (as suggested by the lovely waiter) - it was a great choice.

I love the food here! It is even better than some of the places I had while in France.

Seriously underrated on all reviewing sites - Google, Yelp! We had a fantastic dinner at Plan B. The restaurant was about half full on a Saturday night which was shocking. The dishes avoided the typical heaviness of French fare while preserving delicious flavors and taste. The mushroom gnocchi and pork and prawns surf and turf were our favorites. We were taken care of by the owner last night who was terrific. Low-key ambiance. Would definitely recommend.

As I ate the most delicious food I noticed how happy the people serving us were. I asked the waitress if she was the owner since she acted that way. She said no and pointed out the owner who was bussing a table. She told me there is no manager and we all do whatever it takes. I continued to watch in amazement this team of people who all acted as owners laughing and having a wonderful time greeting and serving the customers. It was a joyful experience and I applaud the owner. I highly recommend and will visit often.

This is arguably the area's best French restaurant! From the bread and the butter to the workhorse wine list and the superior service, this establishment is a real find! Food quality is very high. Our mussels were sweet and fresh and the preparations are "spot-on" classic French. The entrees are reasonably priced and the portions are perfect. The lamb chops and ratatouille were the star on our most recent visit and the creme brûlée was world class. The proprietor's hospitality was very much appreciated as well. We will return very soon!!

Always a delicious and fresh menu. Food was perfectly proportioned and presented artfully. Great wine selection and comfy booths. Food was so amazingly well prepared and fresh that I forgot to take a picture and became fully present in the moment, savoring every bite and sip. Even the water was memorable.

A European experience in Midtown with stellar service and a sophisticated ambience. French Onion Soup was excellent. The prawn sticks are a seafood lovers dream. My chicken sandwich was unlike any other I have had with delicious oils and vinaigrette. Perhaps the most important note was dessert was extraordinary with perhaps the best Vanilla ice cream brought in from the Bay Area. Creme brûlée is a must try with it’s thick top crust. An unforgettable lunch!

Plan b is without a doubt one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. The food is tasty and prices are fair. Great atmosphere with an amazing music playlist that everyone can enjoy. The owner, Lucas & his wife Irina are the coolest people ever to chat with and Lucas is the mastermind behind all aspects of his business. From the delicious items on the menu to the beautiful presentation, the sleek and modern design and decor of his restaurant and the amazing staff, your certainly gonna enjoy your dining experience at plan b everytime!! Cheers!!

I've been here maybe a half a dozen times and I like it a lot. I like places that are less crowded, and this is a place where you can always get a table without a wait. I don't really know why it's not more popular - maybe it's just that it's French. This is a French place that has that classiness without being at all stuffy. The people who work there are very cool, like they could have been in a really cool rock band in the 80s. And maybe they were. The service is very friendly, although perhaps the owner overshares his frustrations from time to time. The food is mostly really good, although I think maybe they've started cutting corners recently. Like for example, I know that the mussels used to be PEI mussels, and it seems like now they are a cheaper kind. Though that could have been a temporary aberration due to an availability issue or something. Good cocktails, including a house original. A half-bottle of champagne is a nice share for two.
