If you are reading this review... please know... the cow thing... um... I am planning on seeing a doctor soon about it... but... THERE I WAS... driving down a city street with Breakfast on my mind... when suddenly I heard a cow going Mooo... and as I looked over... there were 3 of them looking at me and I suddenly smelled the Cinnamon Smell you get like from a Country Fair... So... I stopped... Once inside a Lovely Waitress showed me to my table... There was the Wonderful Smell of Breakfast in the air as I looked over the drink selection... The Coffee came first... Cream... Jelly... and before I knew it... MY ORDER HAD ARRIVED... Oh it looked FANTASTIC... And the TASTE... so SPOT ON... with that COUNTRY MORNING GOODNESS... Maybe the cows will call you too from the side of the road... And then you too will see... what a Country Fair Cinnamon Breakfast... tastes like...
Always good! Friendly service. Pricing has gone up considerably, portions are smaller. I get that, but I can't justify patty melt, fries, drink and tip for $25 or $20 for cup of soup and 1/2 sandwich. Today was a very small waffle, 2 eggs and 2 bacon (no drink) for $15, with tip not sure $18 is a fair price. I don't mind paying top $ for food, I just think this is a little over the top for what you get. Still love Colonial, tho.
The food was delicious, hadn't been here in a while and I was not disappointed.
Fantastic!!
Was looking for a good breakfast place close to where we were staying. Found this and am so happy I did! My husband is a BIG man and NEVER gets full; well today he had a go box in his hand when he left. Food was great, portions large, and I think pricing was very fair. We work in logistics and have seen how much food has gone up and rates have gone down. Next trip I’ll be doing ice cream for breakfast! Hubs had chicken fried chicken breakfast and I did a skillet. We will be back.
We went there on Mother's day brunch. The staffs were very friendly and the food were delicious. Customers for life.
I have been past this place a hundred times over the last 10 years and never visited. Today I decided to. Service was good, food wasn't bad, but have had better. I ordered the pulled pork tacos, maybe not one of their specialties. Pork was a little dry. Another person in my party ordered the pot pie, he said it was good. And another ordered the shrimp tacos, said they were good. Would probably return to try the ice cream, but didn't this time.
Feel like this is a hidden gem. Mondays kids eat free after 4. 1 adult entree=2 kids meals! Chicken and waffles is delish, burgers are big and quality, and they have a whole ice cream menu. The service is a bit meh, seems they need more help, but who doesn't rn. The way they break down your bill is a bit confusing too, but ultimately its right. 5stars for food and value. 4 stars overall bc of the service and confusing billing.
