Always friendly workers here. The manager is super-nice and always has a nice word or two to say to all of her customers. I don't know when she ever gets to leave, because any time of the day that I happen to come in it seems like she's working. They get pretty busy at this location sometimes, so the wait can be a little long if you're ordering hot food. They are efficient though so you'll be in and out as quick as possible. I really like their black coffee here, it's not as bitter-tasting to me as Starbucks and I really like the taste. The hot food choices that they offer are decent - I think McDonald's makes better breakfast sandwiches though. That said - you can NOT beat this place for fresh donuts, especially on this side of St. Charles. Their bagels are more than decent too. Anyway, the only two bad things that I can say is that 1. their hash browns are just terrible. They're always limp and half-cold, and just not good. The second thing is that they never have enough garlic bagels. If they'd just make 3 or 4 more of these delicious bagels available, especially on the weekends, I think that would make quite a few people happy. Overall, a pretty good little DD location. It's always been clean in the seating area when I've been inside, which usually means that the rest of the store is clean too. If they'd just have garlic bagels more often, I'd give 5 stars, the only reason they lose the star is because of that.
