Best Mexican food in Saint Cloud. Great services and you can't beat the 2- 20.00 steak and chicken Féita you difently get your money's worth. Yummy chips and fantastic home made salsa daily it's the best!!!.

Family atmosphere, friendly staff, varied and delicious food. Been going there about 12-15X annually since it opened. A Saint Cloud hidden treasure buried behind government planning negligence.
So I just found out that they deliver so I decided to give them a try..OMG���..I ORDER the carne asada with rice and beans and a order of chips and salsa . and I am in absolute heaven..very good food!
The food is delicious. The waiter is awesome and didn't even need pencil or paper for our order 12 people she remembered everybody's order by memory not one thing was wrong. Very sweet staff were laughing and joking around. Great experience!!��

I ate here for the first time tonight. The service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant very clean. I got steak tacos. My dinner companion got the enchilada/ taco combination plate. Everything was delicious. Looking forward to coming back again!

Just a great place for a simple, well-cooked, well presented meal. Family atmosphere, great owners and outstanding food. You have to be looking for something to complain about to be unhappy.

Great Mexican Food. My wife and i go here almost every time we decide to go out to eat. The food is amazing and authentic. The owners are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. Ask for the hot Salsa, its not on the menu, they also have an amazing spicy queso dip that you have to ask for off menu. We havnt been disappointed with anything we have ordered. Lastly the fried ice cream is the best i have ever had anywhere.
Decided to stop at Jalpenos after looking for somewhere to eat. Definitely was a good choice for lunch. Good food and great price. Nice staff...Thank you!!
Visited Jalapeños yesterday, April 4th, 2014 since we've never tried this Mexican restaurant.
The place is in a small shopping center, it was well lit, cleaned and cozy.
We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waitress was super friendly and professional. She welcomed us, made her suggestions and brought is chips and salsa.
The food was amazing, great flavors and portions. We chose to share on meal that came with shrimp, grilled pork, grilled churrasco and grilled chicken. The meal came with tortillas, rice and beans.
We ended up paying around $36 for the two of us!! Super happy with the service.
The only negative: the chips were not fresh and the salsa was just ok.
Would we visit jalapeños again? Yes!!
Excellent Food. This family owned business offers great food at a great price. Everything is obviously home made and is top quality. The service can be on the slow side, but it's a great opportunity to chat and relax. The food is worth the wait.
Fav Mexican. When my wife is wanting mexican food this is the only place we go in St Cloud. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and the prices are right. I believe they deliver now as well.

Food GREAT : Service SLOW & UNATTENTIVE. OK the food is REALLY GOOD, and the pricing is just right. Their chips and salsa are beyond amazing. Their one problem: I have eaten there twice, and both times the service was substandard. The first time (about 4 months ago) I had a lady server, and she was just OK, but nice. I ate there more recently and had this male server. He would disappear for 15 minutes at a time, my drink was constantly empty. He seriously would not refill our drinks. All 3 of us had empty drinks before he finally refilled them. He gave us one refill (at almost $2 a soda), and we quickly emptied the refill, but he never offered another refill even though our glasses were once again empty.
It's a good thing we didn't mind sitting and chatting because he took his sweet time with EVERYTHING. Our plates were all empty for 10 minutes, when I finally called him over to ask for the bill. Want to know the worst part? There were only 2 tables of people in the restaurant!!!!!
With that said, the food came out promptly, it was completely delicious, and I really like everything else about the restaurant. The service really is bad enough that it will prevent me from going back for a while. I will try it again, but they need to get better servers, or just work harder on service. No one wants to eat their meal without a drink. Perhaps when they fix that, then people can eat there even when they are in a hurry, and they won't have to eat their food without a drink.
This is my first time here for lunch & the food & service is exquisite! I had a Supreme Burrito and it was so flavorful & delicious. The quality of food matches the service provided. They are very attentive to ensure you are completely satisfied. I will certainly return with colleagues from my office for lunch & we will have Jalapeños catering our next office function.
This place is extremely consistent. The food and portions are excellent, very reasonable prices , friendly staff... As far as I am concerned , it's the go to spot on St. Cloud for Mexican food.

Stopped in the small Mexican restaurant on a Sunday for a bite. The place was welcoming and nice. Upon our arrival, there was no other customers at the time but shorty after others arrived. Everyone was seated in a safe distance. The staff was very friendly and oh yea THE FOOD.... That was very good. I had a carne asada (steak) and my wife had chicken tacos . Pricing was reasonable. Definitely will go back again and try something else.
Love this place. Service is friendly and on top of everything. Food is delicious. My friend was raving about his shrimp burrito as I was stuffing my face with my chicken chimichanga. (The chicken was moist, deeply flavorful pulled style chicken) I can't wait to go back.
We stopped in this afternoon after an airboat ride. We enjoyed margaritas, passionfruit juice, and an horchata. We had the appetizer platter to start, we also enjoyed the guacamole. Then we ordered tacos both carne asada and carnitas and both were delicious!
The chicken and steak were seasoned very well. The queso dip tasted very similar to one I buy from the grocery store and the rice and beans were ok. The decor was beautiful and was a topic of conversation for us over lunch. Overall I liked it but didn't love it.
