This restaurant was such a great little place! We stopped by on the way to the beach, received a 10% discount for staying at the Comfort Inn right next door. I highly recommend any of the burgers - A+++!!!
Ignore the scary Waffle House next door. This place is a cross between a British pub and neighborhood bar, even has a fake beach play area for kids. We shared a very generous loaded nacho appetizer and fully cooked Philly cheesesteak for late afternoon lunch. Im sure that the bar is packed at midnight but anytime before 8 or 9 pm is fine for families that want a great dinner on the side of 95.
Great food and very friendly. Good variety of food and the staff is very friendly. need to try on sunday when they have band and bikes. might see anyone from a state senator to the person that just processed your new home loan to the guy that just mowed your lawn. great crowd!
just found out that The Corbitt Brothers are performing 9/28 and 10/12. this is a must see band. southern rock and a show you will want to see everytime they are in area. have been at Montrose in summerville and the wind jammer on the isle of palms with great reviews.

Pretty well rounded bar/restaurant. Found Skynyrds on Urban Spoon while looking for a place to meet an old friend who was passing through. Ordered grilled ribeye, medium rare and that's what I got. Perfect med rare. I'm on low carb so I ordered grilled vegetables and they were okay but I wouldnt order them again. My friend ordered a hamburger steak with mushrooms and seemed satisfied. Waitress was nice as could be and very attentive. Could not have been better. Only downside to Skynyrds was people smoking inside. Only two people but had I known about smoking, I would never have suggested the place.

Super Southern Hospitality!!. We were on our way to Hilton Head and looking for a place to watch some NCAA 2010 March Madness basketball. The start time for the game we wanted to see put us in the area. Stopped for gas and ask some local folks for suggestions. "Skynyrd's" was the unanimous answer.
Outstanding service and great food! A few in our party sat out in the patio bar and had a cigar or two while others sat inside and watched NASCAR. The staff went out of their way to help us see the game we wanted to watch-thanks!
We will stop again. Just seconds off highway 95. Great food, friendly folk, and a fun atmosphere. Kids (our teens) welcome too.
What's not to like?
Don't pass up this place if you are north of Walterboro and are hungry! This little place has excellent chicken wings, onion rings and the best greasy little fries. We saw plenty if people eating Steak that they grill outside on the barBque. I know it sounds funny, but the food was surprisingly good, not expensive, friendly staff, great music and served really fast! This was a great little find on our long I-95 journey.
