There’s really only 3 decent places to eat at this time of the year in St. Ignace…but it was just 2 until we stopped here on a whim. Really good food, reasonably priced, and a full bar. Can’t ask for much more in a sleepy town at the end of tourist season. This will now be a regular stop for us o
It has some mediocre service. The staff is polite enough, but most of them seem to be from Jamaica? Some southern island's, and English is not their first language. But the whitefish was lovely, the fries meh. But you MUST try the whitefish livers! They were amazing!!! Absolutely loved them. Worth
If you're visiting St Ignace, you've gotta stop at the Galley! The food is made fresh to order and tastes amazing! We can all recommend their whitefish or walleye served with seasonal veggies ( green beans, sliced carrots, and broccoli sautéed on butter and seasoned deliciously), the whitefish dip,
Feels like a family dinner but the food well surpasses any dinner I've been too. Every plate had large portions, and everything was so good. One thing I always judge restaurants on is their coleslaw and theirs was great! I had king crab and it was perfectly cooked. I can also say the kids fish was
Good local restaurant with a cool atmosphere, wonderful service and good food. My family of seven, ages 8 to me at 52 were all able to find something they enjoyed off of the menu.
Came in right as a bus arrived. They were amazing handling everyone on a Thursday at 6p. Good food: great salad with side calamari; calamari a little too much breading but tasty otherwise. Salad with grilled whitefish was excellent. We’re amazed at the calmness of the staff under a busy blast. Reaso
Food was absolutely delicious and the wife had the chicken Alfredo that she said was excellent and service was great. It definitely will be the first place I would go if I come back to the island
Dave our waiter was a 5 star act all by himself. The food was delicious and the real test is when the meal comes fried and you asked for it to be broiled and they can do it. That means they have a great chef and fresh food. They even do chili right. I have nothing negative to say.
Would of given this place 5 stars, but my food was a bit cold coming out. I had the fisherman's breakfast. Fish was great! Now don't let this stop you from going. The service was great! We were seated with a view of lake Huron! Served very timely, and the portions were great size. I left full!
My friend and I decided to try The Galley out for dinner on our vacation and we LOVED it! The staff was pleasant and our server took great care of us. I enjoyed the Broiled Whitefish - it was cooked very well. I would definitely recommend this place!
Stayed in Saint Ignace for a week in July. We ate at the Galley many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food and the service were always great! We were treated like family there! Judith, Daniela, Jahmel, Vanessa, and Karen are all wonderful, sweet people who will make you feel at home. All
When we arrived, the young man sat us in the first dining room, but we wanted a view of the water so we asked and he was more than happy to move us to another table in the bigger dining room with great views. Thank you, sir!
Brianna was our waitress and she took care of us really well. Didn't rus
Food was very good. Arguably the best dinner you could have in St. Ignace. I highly recommend the Whitefish dip appetizer. Service, vibes, and ambiance were fine, but not stellar. Would recommend and go back.
We came in 30 minutes before they closed and they did not hesitate to seat us. (We left after their closing time, but other customers were still seated). Service seemed slow at first, but the food was ready quickly. My husband had a fish sampler and it was lightly breaded to perfection. I had a
Greeted by friendly smiles. Our waitress was so funny and sweet. Made our first experience wonderful. Food was AMAZING. Price not too bad. Pretty average.
