The food was amazing, and extremely large portions. I was surprised how delicious the thorn burger was. Raspberry jam, cream cheese and a fried egg are quite amazing. Louise was a wonderful waitress with some excellent insights into what was best on the menu.

Solid 4.5/5. Great burgers, just kinda dumb expensive. You get a burger without a side and you are spending $20. Just kinda silly. The burgers were super great though, and even with the expense to them I'll still come back. Burgers were cooked to order perfectly. Beer selection was good, overpriced tho.

Traveling from Chicago to Holland and wanted to stop for a good stretch of the legs and some good food, BOY DID WE LUCK OUT! Bucks was sooooo good. The restaurant is extremely cozy and very worth the stop just to view some of the incredible music memorabilia. The staff was super friendly and our server ( Taya) was not only knowledgeable of the menue but also allergen safe options for my egg allergy. I got the build your own sandwich with chicken and my companion got the blue cheese burger. The portions are plentiful, and on par if not on the larger side of average. The chicken was well seasoned (not too salty) and the sandwich as a whole was perfect. My companion loved their burger so much in fact they can't wait to head home for another stop. The fries are done in veg/soy oil and perfection so no peanut allergy worries there. I got the fried Brussel Sprouts as my side and they were so good I can't stop thinking about them. I want more for a midnight snack. We have found our new travel stop on our trips to visit family, friends, and fruit picking. A must try!

The Buck, a time-honored bastion of gastronomic delight, stands defiantly in the face of the ever-changing culinary landscape. This isn't just a restaurant; it's an institution, breathing chronicle of taste and time. I've been a pilgrim to this shrine for over four decades, since its days as the Silver Dollar, and each visit is like flipping through the pages of a delicious history book. Change? Sure, it's swirled around The Buck like a tempest, but the soul of this place – it's as immortal as the myths of old. The food, a testament to timeless culinary craftsmanship, continues to be a siren call for hungry souls. Generous portions? They're like a culinary embrace, a hearty 'welcome back' from an old friend. And the staff, oh, they're the heart and soul of the joint. They don't just serve; they entertain, weaving a tapestry of fun and familiarity that wraps around you like a well-loved jacket. They're not just friendly; they're the embodiment of the place itself – a delightful blend of humor, warmth, and a dash of mischief. The burgers, a carnivorous poetry in a bun, are a culinary masterpiece, a harmonious blend of flavor and nostalgia that can resurrect memories and create new ones in the same bite. The Buck isn't just a destination; it's a testament to the fact that, while much changes, the best things endure. A place where every meal is not just a feast for the stomach but a festival for the soul.

The Buck Burger was awesome! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. We did not mind the 1-hour wait at the bar (we were warned and it went fast), the delicious bar appetizer and cold beer, the mouth watering perfectly cooked burgers, and the atmosphere. Although, fair warning, if you choose to sit on the outside roof deck, plan to be VERY hot. Not much shade, less breeze with a view of the back alley, a few trees and power lines and transformers. Not much the owners could do, other than more umbrellas and fans. We will 100% sit inside on our next visit.

Good food. Nice rooftop eating location if that’s your thing. Indoor seating too. We got two salads, a kids meal, a burger and one Mojito.

I do not say this lightly. This was one of the best meals I've ever had. First of all, the beer menu is vast with a local emphasis, which is great. I started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese and it blew my mind. Super soft pretzels with just the right amount of flavor and salt, and the beer cheese itself was light and flavorful itself. Absolute perfection. Then I received my chicken strip basket and I can't even effectively describe how incredibly delicious everything was. The chicken had just the right breading to meat radio and was properly seasoned, and the fries had such a great choice of seasoning on them with a perfect amount of salt. I can't recommend this place enough and I'd absolutely go back.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere is a tribute to the legends of music from many eras. From KISS in London To Kid Rock. Guitars, pictures and good music bring the place to a whole different level. multiple levels of seating indoors and outside. Outside seating hasn’t excellent view of the lake. Service was very friendly, polite, and speedy. A very enjoyable meal for me and my new wife. The best part is they get their meat fresh from state street meats and it’s just 2 doors to the east where you can get the same meats used at the restaurant. 74 beers on draft plus mixed drinks and wines

Great place with great burgers and brews. The burgers are made with 3 meats, brisket chuck and short rib. They have 74 handles, so you can get your favorite style and many of the local brews. They also have a great selection of wine and cocktails. Upstairs they have an outdoor deck, a great place during warmer weather.

The burgers are amazing! The indoor atmosphere is fun and playful, but the outdoor patio is nice and relaxing on a warm summer day. Both my kids and I enjoyed the restaurant.I had a side salad with my burger (which was huge!) but my daughter had the cheese curds and they were delicious. I look forward to going back and trying their fish, I had such a hard time deciding!

Very good burgers!! The place is cool. We sat upstairs. Kind of noisy and hard to hear, but worth it! Some at our table had craft beers. They enjoyed it. Our server was very nice!

Great place to visit for lunch or dinner for sure!! Food was delicious!! The onion rings were huge, crispy and piping hot, my boyfriend's Buck Burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned well and my Chris P. Bacon Grilled Cheese was amazing!! Oh and let's not forget their home made chips and their home made house ranch that is fantastic! Also they have a fantastic drink menu and a wheel you can spin called "The wheel of Indecisiveness" to help you choose your next beverage! So after spending an afternoon at the beach, you can walk up town and grab a bite to eat and continue with exploring the downtown area! But make sure to put Bucks on your list for a place to stop!! Thanks for the wonderful and friendly service!
