Thornton's Hometown Cafe, a place so hidden it makes you wonder if it's part of a government conspiracy or just shy. Stepping in here is like falling down a culinary rabbit hole into a world where breakfast is king and the clock always reads 'morning'. The food? Served hot enough to make you believe
My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today and it was a great experience. The food was fresh and everything was cooked well. The price is a smidge on the high side for breakfast food but the quality makes it worth it. We would definitely come back.
Very much enjoyed breakfast this morning with my love at this quaint cafe . Had a wonderful breakfast. Everything was very delicious served hot and fresh from the coffee to the gravy to the fresh blueberries and everything in between. Our waitress was excellent...She never let my hot, fresh coffee
We stopped for a late breakfast. The food was outstanding. Perfect diner comfort food. The biscuits and gravy fueled me up for a day at the beach. Good prices and service. Sorry that I don't live closer to stop again.

Food is good but pricey for a sandwich. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Breakfast was amazing! It was an enormous omelet with asparagus, onions, and cheese. Way more than 2 people could eat, by sooooo good.
They have the most amazing pancakes with hot syrup is the best. Great service and friendly waitresses. Will be back on a regular basis
Food delicious as always. Staff always friendly and no better place to relax in downtown SJ
Everything was delicious, we had a large group and the service was great. Prices were really reasonable
Great food in thus small hometown eatery. Well worth a visit.
Very nice restaurant. Friendly, awesome staff. Great value. The BEST hash browns.
Super good place to eat at. The workers there are very friendly and the breakfast was a 10/10. Pancakes were very large and very good. The portion sizes were on the bigger size but don't let that stir you away. This was a plus in my opinion! The cost for the food was purportionate for the food size.

A large cup which was great too. The place was busy and i didnt feel like we waited very long at all. We'll cer
I don't go here often because of the prices, but the food is always great. And their ranch is the best!
