Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! Well worth the weight in my opinion. And though it was packed when we first entered meaning the line was out the door, by the time we actually ordered our food tables had opened up and we were able to set comfortably with our group of 8 people.

This place was awesome! We did the Meat Daddy platters because we just wanted to try everything!! We also got a butter pie for dessert. Honestly, one Meat Daddy is plenty to share, but we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, so we were just extra. My favorite meat on the platter had to have been the brisket, but the ribs were right there next to it. Highly recommend this for St Louis BBQ and good smoked meat. The atmosphere is eclectic and matches the National Blues Museum literally attached to it. Try all the sauces and pick your favorite!

Key points: Food and price. The quality is amazing and it is def more for what you pay. The service is similar to a to-go restaurant, but this one has plenty of seat and the atmosphere ask you to stay. The soft drink selection is as good as it gets. I love the concept and def will be back for more.

Amazing BBQ! Visiting on a very busy weekend and they were sold out twice before we could get in! Last day decided to arrive right when they opened and already a line! Worth. The. Wait. Hubs and I shared the three meat combo with pulled pork, smoked turkey and brisket, with fries and Cole slaw and a side of pork belly hush puppies. All three meats were moist and delicious- no need for sauce on any of them. I tried their honey badger sauce and it was really good. Sides were fine but not what we came for. Service was set up like a cafeteria line and really efficient. Seat yourself and local sodas. Overall a great experience!

Came here early at 10:55, right before they open and already two people in front of the line. So glad we came early because the line is long later. Favorites are the pulled pork, ribs and the brisket. Didn’t care for the turkey. Big portions and great value. Love the variety of sauces.

This place was great! Love the way they let you customize the meal. The guys working in the kitchen were SO COOL. Easy to talk to, answering all questions with a great attitude. It was very hot in there so I felt bad for them, they had to be miserable, but they were polite and nice in spite of that. We loved every item we ordered and appreciated the menu options offering a little taste of everything! We came up from Northeast Arkansas and we will be back.

Our lunch at Sugar Fire BBQ in St. Louis was an absolute treat! As we journeyed from Branson MO to Kentucky, we stumbled upon this gem, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I opted for the pulled pork and brisket combo, and let me tell you, it was a match made in BBQ heaven! The flavors were out of this world, and the tenderness of the meat was simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My wife went with the pulled pork paired with the delectable potato salad, and she couldn't stop raving about how much she enjoyed every mouthful. The atmosphere at Sugar Fire BBQ was delightful, creating the perfect ambiance for savoring a finger-licking BBQ feast. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their genuine warmth added an extra layer of joy to the dining experience. Having run my own BBQ restaurant in the past, I know the dedication and craftsmanship that goes into creating exceptional BBQ. I have to say, Sugar Fire BBQ truly nailed it! On a scale of 1 to 10, they effortlessly scored a solid 10 in my book. If you're in St. Louis and craving some seriously outstanding BBQ, look no further than Sugar Fire BBQ. This place has everything you need for an authentic and unforgettable BBQ experience. From the mouthwatering dishes to the top-notch customer service and warm welcoming atmosphere, it's a full package of BBQ bliss. I can't recommend this place enough, and if you find yourself passing through the area, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Sugar Fire BBQ. It's a 5-star experience all around, and you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely spot on atmosphere and service. The line by the cutters and servers was perfect. The guy with all the smoked meats was perfectly efficient with the gorgeous juicy fork tender meats, a pitch perfect call-out of the orders, and the half sheet pan service was amazing. The three meat combo with the smoked fried artichokes was more than enough to feed two adults, especially with the sides and a slab of cornbread with honey butter. The cornbread was sweet, dense, and perfect. I found the ribs a little dry, but the brisket was legendary, and the pulled pork was good enough. The brigade of sauces at the table were varied, but nearly all sweet. The decor was amazing from the murals of local music and history to the bucking bull with brisket it's what's for dinner plastered on the side to the skeleton on the other to the flowers under his ringed nose. Great music, fun vibes. My only regret was not grabbing a slice of pie when I could, as I'm sure either the key lime or the sugarfire pie would have been amazing.

This place is off the chain, I want to move to St Louis 😂😂😂😂. Coming back here with my adult kids during Christmas week. Going to make it a family tradition. This place is by far across the nation the best smoked meats I have ever had. And I really don't care for meat so that's saying Alot. Definitely coming back. And I love the tray to eat off of, so much to share!

Walk in and order with a menu right above your head. This chipotle like restaurant will give you a wide selection of pork brisket beef whatever barbeque you want they have it. The waiters are nice and the food is awesome. There is alot of cool art around and paintings on the wall. It is very chill and when i went it wasn't very loud. They have a wide variety of drinks and food. They don't have many desserts but if you so get the desserts they are amazing. You can order really fast and the service is great. All of the waiters and staff are there if you need them and they are great to have it you need recommendations.

Amazing brisket I can’t think of the last time I had brisket that good! We also had turkey, collard greens (slightly spicy), potato casserole, cheddar sausage. All were super good! They have different bottled sodas and fountain drinks. The atmosphere was pretty loud, the kitchen couldn’t really hear you order well. They also let us know the ac went out earlier that day so it was pretty hot. Other than that it would be a 5 star! Also it’s order and sit style!

We ate SugarFire 2x while we were in the Lou. First night was 30 min before sellout. The portions were huge. Sides were good but nothing that just blew me away. The next time we were 1st in line. Portions were kinda measly. Completely different sides and well again they were just ok. Nothing over the top. Both times the drinks in fountain machine were empty. The 2nd trip they just opened and were filled with cleaning water from the night before and I almost drank it. The burnt ends were top notch. The ribs were just meh The turkey was great. Brisket was good but nothing special. Pork was so tender it was awesome too. The real winner is the sauces tho man. That coffee is on a different level!!

Over the last two years I've had BBQ in Memphis, Texas, Kansas City and now St. Louis. This place is right up there with the best I've tried! The turkey was amazing and likely the best turkey I've ever had. Highly recommend stopping in here!

One of the few places downtown that appears to be able to handle large crowds with ease. The food was good and had many combo options for even the pickiest eater. Their cornbread is good!

We heard so much hype about this iconic place. Gotta tell ya, it lives up to the hype. Smoked brisket was fantastic. Multiple choices of sauce to choose from. Service was excellent. So you come in look at the menu and order then go sit down. The place got filled up really quickly for lunch. We went right when they opened. Meter street parking is available. Portion was generous.

The food was delicious, and they gave us pieces to try while ordering! - loved the Mac and cheese ! The staff was super friendly and fun! The music was Metallica and fit the audience perfectly as Metallica is in town this weekend ! Didn’t get to try any cocktails but they had some cool craft drinks . Definitely recommend !!
