The best Italian dinner I’ve had in St Louis in years. We were considering seafood pescatore but also risotto. Our server let us know they’d be happy to create a seafood risotto for us although it wasn’t on the menu. It was absolutely delicious. We also had the mushroom trio and flash fried spinach appetizers, equally great tasting. I’ve not dined here in years but I have now eaten there 2x in the past month. I definitely will return again soon.
Wonderful meal after a sad farewell to a fallen family member. In remembrance of Jennifer Williams our family gathered here. I was told she came her alot. I was also told she was friends with the owners, if you are reading this, thank you for making such a sad day by taking us in and being do kind and wonderful to us.The service was impeccable, just can not have been any better. The food, from appetizers to dessert it was just so good. Everything was just so rich and delicious. I'm from Michigan so I will remember this awesome restaurant when I come to visit my cousin. We have been visiting LoRusso's for nearly 20 years! It has a charming and comfortable atmosphere and the owners and staff are extremely friendly, efficient, and accommodating! And we have NEVER had a bad meal! We have hosted many events in the banquet room; it's a very quiet and comfortable atmosphere for fellowship! We've also had LoRusso's cater many meals to our home and the service and food are always exceptional!! We will be returning for many years to come!!!
Highly recommend the happy hour here! I sat at the bar and had the meatballs and the toasted ravioli and both were very good. The rest of their menu looks good too and would probably be great for a nice dinner or a date night.
Very nice place that has been a Saint Louis staple for many years. The prices are very good and service is great. I had the eggplant lasagna and it was delicious! A really nice portion size and the red sauce is so flavorful.
Great service and really good food. The salmon piccata was pretty gluten-free and really tasty. Returned again! Seafood dish and veal were great. Wine was good (Chianti).
We have loved LoRusso’s for many years. They have catered our staff and volunteers Thanksgiving/Christmas Appreciation lunches at Oasis International Ministries every year. This year they will cater our 50th Wedding Anniversary at our home. It’s just the best!!
Service was great. The appetizers were amazing we had seared tuna and mushroom trio. The waitress introduced the specials like she had been doing her job for years. The food was amazing the atmosphere is outstanding definitely will be back to this restaurant.... Oh not to mention that the noodles were actually homemade you could taste the difference!!questo cibo era favoloso! Consiglierei di mangiare qui. molto bene!
We had my mothers memorial over a weekend and kicked it off with a buffet dinner for over 40 at LoRusso's. The food and service were top notch. Having such a delicious meal and feeling so well taken care of was a great way to set the tone for the weekend. The delicious food at LoRusso's keeps coming up in conversation. I am so grateful for LoRusso's Cucina!
Lovely fine dining experience. The food was flavorful and plentiful. I really enjoyed the herbed crackers that they served prior to the meal.
We were treated like the family here! The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. I can't think of a word good enough to describe the Merlot. It's the perfect place to really enjoy a meal.
Old school Italian restaurant just like I like. Excellently prepared tenderloins perfect medium rare.
I wouldn't advise sitting across from the serving area as it got quite noisy.
LoRusso's doesn't disappoint! 5 department Christmas parties in the past 7 years, and each one is better than the last. Thank you LoRusso's for being our restaurant of choice during the holidays!
We love LoRusso's! We go every year for our anniversary and on special date nights. The food is absolutely amazing. No where better in St. Louis! And excellent service every time we go. The servers are professional and friendly. Their desserts are to die for as well!
We enjoyed the happy hour drinks & appetizers (especially the mushroom trio & the meatballs/polenta). For dinner, the Ziti in Vodka Sauce was very tasty. Great service & a good time. 👍🏼
We reserved the banquet room for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I was arranging things from out of town and Pam was great in helping me decide things. The dinner was wonderful. Food was great, service was lovely, and the atmosphere was perfect - elegant Italian family restaurant.
Nice neighborhood spot, timeless vibes, delicious food. Tenderloin Marsala was rich, fried spinach was fun and good, cannoli was 🤌
We heard about this restaurant from a few friends before we came to town and it did not disappoint.
Everything from the ambiance to the customer service was exceptional. My husband and I fondly recall our time in Italy together and LaRusso's offered us a taste of nostalgia with original flavors and a variety of dishes to enjoy.
Will be back and highly recommend 👌
