We had dinner here in early December. The food was so good, as was the service and ambiance. Definitely check this restaurant out! I had spaghetti and clams and my friend had the lamb. The owner and chef, Pep outdoes any other restaurant in the city.
Really loved this place. Great Service. Very clean. We snuck in before the busy dinner hour so didn't need a reservation but it is small so I'm sure you'd need one during busy hours. The meatball appetizer is just amazing, so this time I skipped the appetizer and got spaghetti and meatballs. Oh my.

This place is a great neighborhood restaurant. The food is great! I had the lamb shank and it was delicious. I also had the beet and feta salad. They could use a few more wines on their menu. Parking is tough. But in that area you can park on the street.
We came to Peno after a recommendation from a family member that they offered authentic yet upscale Italian cuisine. It was the winter time, so I was especially pleased to see that their outdoor deck was open. They inclosed it and had very well-placed gas heaters as well.
