I love this place. A working man's tavern, serving food that you'd eat at home! Pay attention, the food is outstanding, with a working man's price tag. Enjoyed a French dip with a little extra horse radish on the side with the au jus! Just wonderful. Gregg's is an Oasis on the north side of STL.
I've scoured the country for the best Blackened chicken sandwich and I have never had a better one than Gregg's!! Any time I am driving through the STL area, Gregg's is #1 on my list!! Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. As authentic as they come.

Good food with fast and friendly service. Went during lunch break and ate outside on a nice sunny day. We had a blonde waitress that was easy on the eyes. I would definitely recommend going here for lunch and/or drinks if you're in the area.

Great but slow service.Always great food. In response to the owner. Yes they only have 1 waitress and she does a fabulous job it's just hard to go there for lunch because she cant keep up. I should have made the "slow" comment more clear. Keep up the great work guys. Love the food!
5 stars for food!! Everything is awesome. If you are afraid of the location, don't be. They have a good patio and good people. The horseradish is so good and the smash burger is the best. They have tater tots and hush puppies too!! Go there.
