After years of living in the Central West End, I finally came in to give Cocina Latina a try, and I was blown away by the food here! It was an absolutely delicious meal–so simple yet so flavorful. The staff were excellent and I didn't have to wait long at all for the food to come out. I will definitely be back here again!

I have eaten here many times. The food is great! Delicious, decent-sized portions at reasonable prices. The only area in which this place “lacks” is the service. The main waiter always takes his time coming around, even if it is not busy. He watches tv from behind the bar so you can tell.

I hadn’t been in years and loved every minute of their patio and food. The flavors and portions are great. We went on a Saturday and got to enjoy the stray music from Evangeline’s. Will be back much sooner this time.

So so good! The food was delicious and the service was quick. Large quantities of food for each entree. The artwork in the restaurant was very fun as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Our waiter was a bit quiet, and I'm a loud mouth who likes to talk and ask questions, but besides that, the vibe was AMAZING, the food was incredibly DELICIOUS and worth every penny. We did not feel rushed at all, which I love. In a city & it's surrounding areas overcrowded with Mexican restaurants, this Peruvian spot is a MUST. We will be going back ASAP.

Finally able to make it up to Cocina Latina, and it was well worth the trip. From the Inca Kola to the pisco sour, there's plenty of Peruvian drinks for anyone's palate. For starters, the Peruvian empanada was ok, but the papa a la huancaina was amazing. As far as the entrees, the lomo saltado was cooked to perfection and perfectly portioned with the rice. The aji de gallina had a little spicy kick and was very well made. Definitely a go-to if Peruvian food is on your list.

It seemed like a quiet spot and average service. The food had very good flavor but was hard to accommodate some of my food restrictions so I felt limited with the menu. Chicken very tasty, the plantain chips and sauce were great. Salad was very flavorful.

When you’re craving empanadas, check out this quaint little CWE spot. We made are our way through the delicious appetizer menu, then each had an entree— too much food meant we left with leftovers. Don’t be like us, leave room for desert!

Second time I am here since few weeks after they've opened. I got to say, the taste of the food has been improved. Definitely coming back.lomo saltado and the anticucho that I had was amazing. My wife got Aji de Gallina and Chicken Tamales. She says the 5aste reminds her of her days back in Peru where she grew up.

I loved my time in Peru and am slightly obsessed with tasting ceviche wherever I can! The chef is from Peru, and her sister was also at the restaurant. Their ceviche was made with Mahi Mahi and was excellent!! The Pisco Sour was delicious too :) I was so inspired by the flavors that I also ordered Lomo Saltado! It was the best I've had so far, even better than Peru which I attribute to the filet mignon. The meat was flavored beautifully and soooo tender. Both dishes were $16.99 and the drinks were around $10 a piece. I highly recommend this spot for authentic Peruvian cuisine.

Excellent little restaurant in the CWE. I went on a Wednesday and it was almost empty, (COVID-19 had something to do with that) so service was good. Dishes were decent and the right proportion, overall good experience
