The people are very sweet/kind and observant all ways on it , down-to-earth but also professional, and the food was great and hot super good food, I was there only 3 times but a great experience those three clean place also truly amd honestly a little Jewel of a place :)
This black owned restaurant is bomb! The ambiance takes you back to walking into your grandmothers house and smelling the essence of each individual spice... My chicken and waffles were great. The flavor of the waffle, and the badow flavor of the chicken strips are DELICIOUS! The staff was friendly
One of the friendliest places we've eaten in St Louis. It felt like eating with family. Live DJ playing soul, jazz, & blues during the day. Brunch buffet was delicious and reasonably priced. Don't pass this one up! The caramel pecan crescent rolls were the best! They let me take a couple home

Only chance to eat here once, but WOW, will for sure be back. One of the best bacon cheeseburgers, and the fries were amazing. Warm friendly owner, along with the chef/cook that came to the table to inquire how I wanted the burger cooked. Neat historic building. Just wonderful!

On Sunday they do a Soulfood Sunday. They only serve soul food. I told the owner/chef that i was vegetarian and she recommended the mac and cheese and then said you know what i have a black bean burger in the back. My lunch was excellent. I had the fried corn, smothered potatoes, and fried chicken. The establishment is a great comfortable place to enjoy an intimate lunch with someone who you are dating.
The atmosphere, customer service, and food was fantastic. The owner is a delight to sit and talk with. I will be going back and bringing my friends. Thank you for a very positive experience.

This was our first time here and we love the HOT FRESH FOOD that is made on order and we also love the customer service that they have the cook come out the kitchen and check on things that a two 👍👍 for us and the other plus size is it's BLACK own
Limited menu but I enjoy supporting neighborhood businesses. Great service. I will definitely go back. Note they are only open until 2pm.
