By far the best Steak n Shake in South City. Never overcrowded and a lot less shenanigans then the others.
Sometimes you get a mediocre server, but usually they are good and keep your drinks full. Food quality is on par with other SnS, but I would say it is slightly higher at least.
I have to say. Great inside visit today! Friendly servers,Food deliciously served Hot & fresh! Both Restrooms clean. My friend, she ate the Chicken salad,the presentation of salad in the bowl was visually impressive! The picture I posted,she had stirred salad together already....because I was eyeballing it so much she thought I was going to eat it! I will visit again to try the chicken salad myself next time!
This is probably one of the best if not THE best Steak n Shake in the inner City area. Me and my wife go here at least once a week and we take the bus. It's on a very convenient bus route . Please support this chain location here. The staff is great and it's very clean plus they always get the orders right . You can't go wrong here. The management is great too. Support St Louis Steak n shakes!! 😉
Food was excellent as ever. Great prices with the 4$ for 4 items menu. Never had their cookies before - brilliant. Got the triple stack burger. Great bang for your buck. And I don't care what anyone says about their skinny fries. They're always crispy and delicious.
Service is great, has the best servers and employees! Dined in and it was magnificent! The presentation was beautiful from the burgers to the shakes. Drive thru service is great. Even if its busy and takes a while the employees are always super friendly. I love it, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would :-D
We just left and I felt it necessary to point out that I've come here for years, not too often but occasionally, and I will be coming back more often now. The customer service was that of a 4 star restaurant all because of Jennifer D. She was spectacular. She smiled as if she made $100 an hour and made sure we had what we needed. Super polite and great with kiddos. She deserves every penny she makes because she surely works damn hard for it. She took pride in her job to the next level. Food was also great in comparison to previous visits. Give your staff a high five and a few extra bucks an hour. 😜
Our son was making faces and laughing at everyone, like he always does. And the staff was eating it up. The waiters were just hamming it up right back at him and it made for a great dinner out with a son who usually commands all our attention. But these guys were great with him and the food was hot and tasty, too. Nice.
