Where to start? We made a reservation and got the adorable booth in the corner facing the street. Katie was our server and I think she's my new favorite human. She answered our many questions, as I am crap at figuring out modern day menu-speak. She knew the entire menu backwards and forwards, including the drinks. Super friendly, energetic, patient, and funny. And massively competent. Our drinks and food were delivered with impeccable timing and we felt so well taken care of!
On to the food.. i got the gnocchi and the squash small plate. I don't know what they do to the squash - fry it, I guess, but it was light and fluffy and went amazingly well with the peanut sauce and the frisee, which i don't normally even eat in salads. Squash sounds boring but it was anything but. The gnocchi was perfect too. Great comfort food, and quite a decent size for a small plate. The sauce was super creamy and decadent, and i literally almost licked the bowl clean. I am so excited to come back and try the brunch!
I LOVE going to restaurants that really put some creativity in their food! We absolutely loved this place! The 'Taster's' were amazing! The Blueberry and the Mushroom mousse! Fabulous! My Vegan meal was awesome! Also the Cucumber salad, Raman dish, Cauliflower dish superb! I highly recommend it!
My family(5 of us) was there on Sunday and again, had an excellent meal and service. We have been there before and the servers remembered that I don’t like cilantro. The server brought our apps and shared that mine didn’t have cilantro. I was SO impressed by their amazing memory and attention to detail as I neglected to tell them when I ordered. They are the best!!!
I've worked in fine dining for 15 years. Tongue in Cheek is now my new favorite brunch spot. The "Here's Johnny" is the most decadent twist on eggs benedict ever. I've had it twice and it was perfection both times. The service is excellent. Great coffee. Fun artwork and atmosphere. Definitely check it out.
Great little bar, 4 dollar happy hour beer Ginger and Maryann was wonderful. This restaurant has the lovely combination of being special and neighborly. I had the pad thai salad which was delicious and later a group of us had the parmesan gnocchi and I had cauliflower. Very very good. Tongue in Cheek is known for locally and ethically sourced meat but have very good vegan and vegetarian options. Definitely will go back.
Amazing delicious food!! Casual relaxed environment but with high end top notch food! We had the Pork belly and Beef Cheek and it was some of the best food we've ever tasted!
Nestled in a small area of St. Paul, this small unique find was a gem. The service was excellent, the food was fabulous. Highly recommend- Yummy
We kept saying, “interesting” and we kept eating, The chef tests your tastebuds. The food was interesting & delicious! We ordered the appetizer flight and tried everything. 😛 Our scallops were prepared perfectly & SO delicious! For the 1st time ever we ordered a gluten-free entree & were very pleasantly surprised. Scrumptious! We had dessert & that too was excellent. We’ll go back.

Delicious cocktails with awesome names-I had the Felonious Negronius-and a menu that made the meat eaters happy and this gluten free vegan ecstatic. Well executed complex but accessible flavors and beautiful presentation.
We just tried this place this afternoon for brunch and it was devine! �atmosphere, staff, and food was excellent!! Definitely will be back!
I’ve been here twice and had great experiences and amazing food! Both times I ordered the Vegasm special and they were the best meals of my life! Very talented chefs. All the staff was friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
With Vegan and GF options, this place is amazing! My child (vegan) and I (GF) had one of the best meals in recent memory here - and we live in the SF Bay Area (!). Wish we could eat like this all the time - if we lived in the area we would be regulars, for sure.
Of course the service and the atmosphere are good (good food cannot make up for the basics). It is child-friendly, which I also appreciate, and very good at catering to different needs.

I had no clue food could taste like that! The ambiance was unique and comfortable. Staff was helpful and attentive to make sure we had the best experience possible. And again, the food was out of this world incredible!
Wow! Great food and atmosphere. The octopus prime starter was superb. For my main I ordered the special of the day and it was dreamy. Highly recommend!
