My wife and I traveled from Southwest Missouri last week to stay for a week within the twin cities(Golden Valley). We hit several breweries and tried many brews. We decided to make a trip to Saint Paul and finally hit up Flat Earth. I'm so happy we did,in our opinion it was hands down the best of the best. It's an amazing space, the beers were fantastic"my wife is still talking about the S'mores Porter that it was the best beer of our vacation". I really enjoyed meeting Franco and the other beertender that day. Thank you guys for your hospitality and the great conversation, from one brewer to another or several. You guys have something really special at Flat Earth. I only wish I could get that S'mores porter down here somehow for my wife seeing how we forgot to get a growler. Thanks again everyone at Flat Earth Brewing!!

Best patio of any brewery in the metro... Their Belgian pale ale is the best beer brewed in the metro. Dog and kid friendly. Love this place

This is our "go to" taproom in the Twin Cities. All the taprooms have great beer but nobody else has this cool of a space. Located in the historic Hamm's brewery on St Paul's east side. Food trucks, live music, dogs, outdoor patio, etc...

I almost don't want to tell people about this place because I love it and don't want it to become crowded. It's my favorite beer in town, even after all the new craft beer around and the brewery itself is amazing. Old Hamms ruins and amazing outdoor space is just so unique. Feels like your miles away from a city. Can't recommend enough

This place has always felt like home. It has been a favorite even when it was in their old location, but since it moved to our neighborhood a few years back, it's been our own personal paradise. The service is always friendly. They aren't beer snobs and are more than happy to explain anything to you. The old Hamm's Brewery is like a secret garden. The red brick, crumbling walls and even the graffiti out in the courtyard just add to the charm. We got married here last year and it was just magical. Bring the kids and the dogs. There are a lot of things to keep them busy. Favorite beers are the Mummy Train pumpkin ale, the apricot Belgian and the Eastside IPA.

Amazing atmosphere. I have never seen anything like it ! The walls and bricks and nostalgia are remarkable. The beer was tasty. We tried 2. Flights and we each found our own favorite. This brewery is a MUST to visit.

Between the mouth dropping main tasting room and the "new" outdoor space this is by far the most aesthetically beautiful brewery in St Paul. Oh yeah - and the beer!

I thought it was great. It was so unique and has great ambiance. It had sort of a casual elegance with the flowers and all but of course they aren’t usually there.

Love that they are family and dog friendly and have a great beer selection! We had fun playing board games, Mario Kart, and just relaxing! They also have a few non-alcoholic choices. We've been here several times and will be back!

A great place for a good time with good friends. Bring your own snacks and play one of their games or bring yours.

REVIEW COMING IN HOT!!! I’M STILL SITTING HERE!!! YOU MUST EAT THE POUTINE FRIES ADD STEAK!!! Now that I have your attention, please stop by this place for an amazing atmosphere and great food. The menu is small and concise so you know everything is great! Brews are a plenty so there is something for everyone. Seating is open, warm, and very regal. We walked in with a party of 10, found a banquet table, and were treated with fast and speedy service.

People behind the bar are so kind and helpful. Food is good, although most of the menu was crossed off. Fun beer options. The patio is wonderful, super cute, fun, and lots of seating options. Dogs are allowed inside and outside. There is a distillery next store that allows dogs on the patio. Check this place out!!

Wow, this place is so spacious! Great for large groups. The patio is probably one of the best in the Twin Cities. Great space, service, WOOD FIRE PIZZA, and booze! Now on my favorites list.

St. Paul Brewing is located in a historic St. Paul... Brewery! This craft beer place features excellent beer, that rotate through the seasons. But it's the location that shines here; The outdoor patio is actually a courtyard, with eclectic and interesting decor throughout. The inside drinking area is spacious, with cozy sofa areas, large group tables and more interesting decor. It's inside a landmark building in St. Paul (the old Hamms brewery!), and the architecture is sure fun to look at as I'm drinking a fine beer! Well worth the visit. The only downside to St. Paul Brewing is the parking lot - it's really really dark, with few lights, large potholes, even construction rubble throughout. Not very good parking, but hey, you don't come to a craft brewery for the parking, right???!!! Note: The parking lot is also not very well marked when you enter from Minnehaha. So go slow, and use Google Maps. UPDATE: I was just there a couple of nights ago to take advantage of the new porter beer that is on tap. With the punch card for "porterfest" (see my photos), they are rotating through some very unique porters right now. So fun! The Christmas decorations are also very unique and nicely done. I especially loved seeing the growler Christmas tree (again, see my photos!). I love St. Paul Brewing! Edit: Of course, I've been back to St. Paul Brewing several times after this original review. A "regular", you could call me? I bounce around. Anyway, the patio is open, and they added a SUPER AMAZING canoe, that is a outside propane heater! OK, See my photos, you won't believe it! SO COOL! And warm, too. Still love the beer selection, and the keg urinals is also fun (gotta be a guy to appreciate a unique urinal!). Way to go, Saint Paul Brewing!
