I'm giving this a 5 star because the owner was there and took the time to talk to us and give us a little bit of a tour. Of course we tried the chocolates, I picked the Ginger Citrus and it tasted just like the name it was given. Just a little bite of heaven. Will definitely go back if I'm in the neighborhood.
They have the best chocolate truffles! I have been going here for years to buy chocolates for friends and my husband for Valentine's day, birthdays, Christmas. They pay attention to detail and everything always looks beautiful! The chocolates look so perfect I almost feel bad eating them. They are like little works of art, yet they taste so good.
Completely fell off the wagon! Their chocolate is like crack! Just walking in this store in smelling chocolate puts you over the edge! What a little gem of chocolate heaven!

Oct 2019, i bought a 24 pack to take as a gift to friend in D.C., a world traveler who fancies fine chocolates. She adored them. her spouse, who does not care for chocolates, found them to be a very, very good.
i don't know how i have never made a pilgrimage to this store before. these are by far the best chocolates in the twin cities, and could stand up to anything you find in SF or NYC. the quality of the ingredients are apparent, starting with the chocolate coating and the cream inside. the flavors are wonderfully balanced. so many choices. i can't wait to try the flavors that were not in season when we went.
i found the price reasonable, especially after traveling to every location for chocolates i could find in the twin cities that week. i saw sloppy handwork, cheap ingredients, & fillers for tidy sums. what a relief to find perfect looking truffles whose textures & flavors were bliss to eat at chocolate celeste.
mary leonard, the owner & product developer, spent a generous 20 minutes with my mother & I, explaining her background, company history & choices in the business. she is deeply knowledgeable & quite personable.
These are the most DELICIOUS sand BEAUTIFUL chocolates! We get them a couple times of year as a gift from a client. I love all the flavors!
They have the best coconut macaroon cookies, so moist and still crispy. I also had a brownie with caramel cheesecake that I saved for the afternoon and it was still amazing. Amazing location and the owners are super friendly.
I have been purchasing chocolates from Chocolat Celeste for a number of years and find them to be spectacular. Mary Leonard, the owner, has always been incredibly helpful and sweet in filling my orders. I have purchased her chocolates for family enjoyment as well as gifts for others. In every case, without exception, upon opening the box there are oohs and ahs at how beautiful and appealing the chocolates look. Then there is the taste... Nothing like it. Amazing smoothness and richness with just the right hint of flavors. I highly recommend these chocolates to anyone who wants an amazing taste or wants to impress someone.
