Stopped in at the SSI location. We were a group of 11 and unexpected by the restaurant. They were able to accommodate all of us. The service was very good as was the food. We came upon this place and it was one on the island we had not tried yet. We were hungry and didn't want to keep searching for food places. I got the calamari tacos and they were amazing. I am a lover of calamari though and I order it a lot when I am near the beach. The service was good and polite.
Eating on St. Simon’s Island can be quite expensive, unless you come to Bubba Garcia’s. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. I've been here a couple times while staying in the area for business. I mainly frequented the upstairs bar. The restaurant closes early, but so do most places around here. The bar is open til 2am, and I think you can order food from downstairs after the restaurant has closed. I've eaten here pre
