Great burgers and tots and super concerned about food allergies. My gluten intolerant wife was so happy to have tater tots. Owners family has food allergies so it is very important to them and it shows. Even without allergies the food is great.
My goodness, how is it that each of our meals were fantastic! Super good burgers and our server was a gem! Oh and the pimento cheese appetizer did not disappoint!
Arrived at lunch time on a Sunday and the place was relatively empty.
Our server was very friendly, however shortly after getting seated it started getting busy. The service lacked a bit after that, having to wait a bit for drink refills. But this wouldn’t preclude me from going back again.
I had the mushroom burger with fries/tots. The burger itself was awesome! I enjoyed every last bite.
The tots were deep fried, and were WAY too crunchy and saturated with oil. I didn’t finish most of them. The fries were decent.
Overall it was a decent experience and again, I’d go back.
I brought my sister here and she literally said it was one of the BEST burgers she has EVER had!! A bold statement for sure, but I have to agree the flavor of the meat they use is awesome! They have a butcher shop attached so no doubt that explains the great quality and freshness! They have many types of burgers and other meats like chicken & veggie burger option. The tater tots and the fries are delicious too! They have a full bar and even offer some brunch options on the weekends. The wait staff is very pleasant and treat you very well! You have to this place!!
I wish I knew my server's name to thank him for the excellent recommendations and "mystery" burger I asked for.
I have already bragged about my ?avocado/bacon/swiss burger, the fries, the chocolate/pb milkshake. The beer was good too, but not as noteworthy as THAT BURGER.

I really enjoyed eating here. The American cheeseburger was cooked the way I asked and the tots are also really good. My wife got the cheese tots and I got the buffalo tots and I ended up liking hers more because the bleu cheese dressing did end up getting the tots on the bottom kind of soggy after a while. Would absolutely come here again.

Menu was a little smaller and so missing some things I saw online (poutine) that made us want eat there and the peanut flavor of the day wasnt something we thought our kids would like. (We all love boiled peanuts) A bit understaffed, but what else is new anymore. Our server was spread way too thin and working hard. But, the food was fresh and hot when we got it. Tasted good. Good beer selection also. P.S.- good for kids as it was not quiet in there at all. May try breakfast/brunch next go round. I recommend giving it a shot.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great. And the drink list seemed endless. Then there's the food.. which was fantastic. Just enough options for everyone to have something they like plus the added bonus of choosing your temperature. AND it's grass-fed and local which is always a plus. If you haven't been here, definitely give it a try. If you have been here, go again. It's worth it.
Burgers were good, fresh, cooked correctly.
Staff was very friendly. We did ask for a few things like onions and jalapenos to be left off two of the burgers when ordering, and when they came out they were still on them. Nice quick bite to eat, fresh food.
We had a great Greek burger for lunch. We opted for the chips, which are homemade; most were crispy, but some were in a mound because of too much oil. Definitely would order this lunch again! 😋

Certified Burgers was so good!!! Not only did we go once, but we had to go back again to have lunch before we headed home!! It was great knowing that the menu is almost completely gluten free! There are items that aren't gluten free, but the servers are extremely educated and can answer any questions you may have. Especially Cora! My family and I felt like we were being served by a lifelong friend! She was phenomenal! In fact, we will be keeping in touch with Cora going forward! Now...can we talk about the food?! Oh my, my!!! The food was absolutely delicious!! We weren't disappointed with anything that we had! The burgers just melted in your mouth! Don't miss out on the Chickpea Fritters or the sloppy fries! If you like margaritas you're going to love their Margarita!! If that's not your style then there's a full bar with plenty of other spirits to choose from. Just a fabulous experience all the way around! When we are back in town, this will definitely be the first place we stop at to eat!!
Besides fast and friendly service, Certified has the best burgers on the island! You won’t find unique burger toppings like this at other restaurants, and every ingredient is top notch. My favorites are the Fungi Town and the Buford Highway. Also please don’t forget to “certify” your tater tots. Hot sauce and blue cheese is amazing! Their boiled peanuts are also a great appetizer treat. Definitely go hungry. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely delicious! I ordered a slider trio - sloppy joe, salami, and pimento cheese...they were out of pimento so I replaced it with another sloppy joe. The sloppy joe was the best choice- so good. The salami was good but maybe an extra slice wouldnt hurt and they made more pimento cheese while we were dining so the waitress offered to bring us one to try. I wasnt sure what I wad expecting. The pimento cheese is delicious, but when I think sliderd I think burgers so I thought it would be a combination of those two. It was a lot of pimento on a little bun. A little overwhelmingly cheesy but like I said delicious.
Food was good but weirdly had uneven rareness in my burger such as one side had a medium rare amount of pink and the other side was medium well so may have had uneven heating. Server was very personable and knew the menu items well enough to gauge what my party and I may have wanted.
Certified burgers is quite tasty! I got the bratwurst, and my only complaint was that it was a little hard to eat. Other than that, it was delish! I loved the caramelized onions on top! It came with tater tots, which were perfectly crispy. We got a chocolate milkshake after lunch and it was the best part! The chocolate flavor was so rich and tasty. Mmmmm
We love the food at Certified!
My Grandson Ray asks to go there every time he is here on St. Simons Island with us.
