This place is a true Tex-Mex restaurant. The family runs it and is from the border. They are welcoming and friendly. The food is fantastic. The kids meals are proportioned well enough to suit my 12 year old. Happy hour is the best too as it’s usually buy one get one free. I will be back and often.
Forgot to take some pictures but it was a really good place. I ordered the steak tacos.
Food was delicious. Adult drinks were on point. We loved the hand painted tables. They were very busy but handled our order in a timely manner. Will be going back that's for sure.
My first time to this restaurant, a Thursday evening. We asked to be seated at the bar. The bartender Tyler was friendly, professional, and efficient and served up good skinny margaritas. Food service was speedy and the chile relleno plate was great. Had a great time.
We enjoyed the Reid burritos and split a massive bowl of delicious chicken tortilla soup. The margarita was good and potent, large portion sizes,we each brought home a 1/2 burrito.
Outstanding setting and very friendly and attentive staff. I had the taco Tuesday special that was a winner. Added a side of beans and rice which were delicious
I was quite pleased with the exceptional service, as well as the quality of my meal. I ordered the chicken enchiladas banderita style and they were exquisite. Thank you so much for everything. -Granny
We frequent Chile peppers and so does my entire family. We love the employees and the owner is an extremely hard working woman who uses the best and freshest ingredients only. Our favorite is the Cecina con enchiladas. Margaritas are amazing and not filled with mix like most Mexican places on the is
This is Luis the manager of Chilepeppers. And its upsetting to me to see the immaturity of our past servers acting in such a manner to defame our restaurant. Mayte has done so much for Juan Diego and his family including lending him her own vehicle for two weeks. Including myself picking him up from
Went here last night. It was amazing, the presentation was beautiful, the food was incredible. I had the Shrimp Tacos, and I was speechless, the flavors matched perfectly. And the Margaritas were impeccable. If you are in St. Simons, definitely check Chile Peppers Island Cantina, you will not be dis
We had a lovely dinner here yesterday. I tried something different, the huevos ranchero burrito . I hope the description is near-to-correct. My husband got an enchilada platter. Both were very good. There were 4 of us, and our server took great care of us. She was friendly and efficient.
We visited last week (Tuesday night around 7pm) and I must say, the food was absolutely fantastic! I loved the Reid Burrito that I ordered...soo good!! My daughter said that her tacos were really good, and my son and wife enjoyed their dishes too. Our server was super attentive, and always kept c
This place was terrific, our whole family including our baby girl at 11 months loved it. We ordered kids bean burrito meal for the baby and loved it. Very satisfied, kind service too!
Just ate here last night and the food was fantastic. Chips and salsa were good. Mole sauce over enchiladas was spot on and the margaritas were just the way my wife likes them. Service was very attentive and best Mexican food on the island. La salsa in Brunswick and chili peppers on the island.
