This guys just brought over some brownie and coffee samples to our office, and it was phenomenal! The brownies lasted about about 3 minutes, the coffee made it about 10! I can't wait to try their specialty coffee and lunch items.
Fantastic coffee shop and cafe with excellent atmosphere, food, and drink. The pour-over coffee and the tuna salad sandwich are highlights. Great for a cup to go, or to just linger. Friendly, considerate staff, too. Highly recommended!
I'm not sure if this place is new, but I prefer to support local coffee shops and haven't really fallen in love with any of the ones on St. Simon's before now. I have to head to SSI for work pretty regularly, and I'm really happy to finally have a shop that I love. It was my first time here and when I visited today, the woman behind the counter informed me it was her first day and she was still learning how to make the drinks. I really appreciated her honesty rather than just flat out making my drink wrong, so I just ordered a regular drip and it was super good. Whatever roast they're using here is robust and earthy which is how I prefer my coffee. 10/10 will make this my regular shop when I'm down for work.
We always look for good coffee when traveling, this gem far exceeded our expectations. The pour over was the perfect drinking temperature, if you know coffee then you know too hot means over extracted bitter coffee. The food was well prepared and absolutely delicious, Aaron presented the Eggs Benedict wonderfully. Jason prepared the coffee perfectly. They're very welcoming and know their business.
The environment is cozy, modern and eclectic while being classy. I'm not easily impressed, but I was this morning. If you're looking for decent, by all means stick to a chain. If you are looking for amazing, go see them. It'll be a regular stopping point for me when in the area moving forward. Thank you gentlemen!!!
Truly helpful staff as I never know what I want. I got a breakfast sandwich that melted in my mouth so delicious and also an iced caramel coffee latte that really hit the spot.
In it's beginning, Local Brew was a hopefully up and coming coffee shop to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Beautiful atmosphere and delectable coffee, but the food was sub par.
Since then, we have welcomed a new 5 star chef to the roster and his ability to revive the dying menu has been tested and proven. Today, Local Brew feels less like the last choice and more like the destination you have been searching for all along. Great food, coffee, personality, atmosphere, wine, and even more are on the way.
If you've felt skeptical about visiting, don't be. Grab a loved one and take a load off at Local Brew.
The staff at local brew are always so friendly and helpful. The food and coffee is great here. And chef Aaron is super passionate about everything they do. I highly recommend everyone going and checking out this local spot.
I’m not typically one to leave a google review, but this place blew it out of the water! Coffee was good, but the BREAKFAST WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. 10/10 highly recommend. Expect me every morning I’m on island.
I've been living here about 2 1/2 years now and I'm mad at myself for just now getting in to Local Brew. Great espresso drinks and a great place to just sit down and read. I haven't really had their food, but my wife has and she says it is top notch.
Great coffee, amazing food, and awesome service. Literally the best food I have had at a coffee shop. They went above and beyond to make sure my avocado toast (added an egg) was perfect. Thank you chef!

This shop has the best coffee in Glynn County! It is clean and attractive with a great atmosphere. If you're into the Scene and you want to be seen, Starbucks is the place for you. I'm a Native and like coffee, so this is the place for me!!
Great people, and amazing food and coffee! Just found this SSI gem recently. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and on top of all that the coffee and food are out of this world! A+ can’t wait to try more of their stuff 👍

Fiance was getting her hair done at nearby hair salon (Bienvenue), so stopped in to grab a drink and do some work while I waited. Barista told me he was going to be closing in 15 minutes when he noticed my backpack. He told me it usually takes him an hour to clean up at closing, so I was more than welcome to stay until he was done. He also told me that for that time frame, it was going to be a better value to get a large coffee to go, instead of the smaller in store mug (since he was going to close). Appreciated the advice and also the offer to stay while he cleaned. Wound up leaving so I could be out of his way and got a Dirty Chai Latte for the Fiance as well. Both drinks were excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone while in Saint Simons.
Loved visiting Local Brew on SSI! They have a large space for groups or book studies, board games, etc... Also good place for privacy.... I've heard the food is great but I had an excellent brew... of coffee that is!
