Tuna melt on sourdough, buttery goodness. The pecan pie, not what I expected from a hometown cafe, it seemed store bought. Super friendly service though and a quiet, relaxed place for lunch.
Cathy was super nice and friendly. The Food was so delicious! I'd say it's a 'bucket list' item. I know Ruth Ann and I will return.

Martin and Linda's daily lunch adventure took us to Salado for a remembrance tour of some very quaint antiques shops. Cathy's was like mom's kitchen as a kid and so were the sandwiches. What was so unique about the place was being serenaded by a very loud cricket under the freezer unit.
Cathy waa super friendly and accommodating. The prices were surprisingly affordable! She packed everything to travel well. The food was not only easy to st in the car, but delicious. I am going to make the drive to her cafe just so I can eat in one day!
I just want to say. I have done a good amount of travelling and this is the best burger I have had in a really long time. I am thankful I found this place and was able to eat here.
just finished eating here. small town cafe, really good food. glad we here instead of fast food. husband had the bacon cheeseburger & I had the chicken fried steak plate. very yummy! ordered pie to go which looks delicious. quick order out, very friendly staff, and MILITARY DISCOUNT!
