We have been going here almost every week for several months now. Have been trying different items on the menu and everything has been wonderful! All of the staff is friendly and awesome, and even remember our names! We love this place!

The food and service were amazing! Green chile and cheddar risotto! My steak was cooked perfectly! And grapefruit sorbetto...delicious. I love good homemade ice cream, and theirs is so good. You have to try this place.
I have been meaning to come here for years. Finally made it and was not disappointed. Easily the best lemon drop in town. Dinner was out to us very quickly. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. Very very impressed. We will be back. Very soon. With friends and family. I am only sorry i didn't take the time to come in earlier.
Really good what a pleasant surprise. The feel is comfortable and homey. Our waitress was wonderful; very patient and accommodating of all of our questions. Then the food... yay! Tasted just right not too heavy or greasy. Fresh and flavorful. We also loved the drinks. The entire experience was absolutely exemplary and I would recommend this eatery for any occasion!
I was visiting from NC and found Acme the Pastrami reuben is awesome. I was in Salem only a few days but ate there 2 times.
The french toast was the best I think I've ever had!

I'm a big fan of Jeff and Cecilia and I LOVE Acme! I have enjoyed every meal I've chosen, each visit. But, I have to single out those blackened mixed vegetables! Delight in every bite!
Whether it's fish, burgers, chicken in a basket, or double coconut cream pie...come and get it! You'll smile.
5 stars all the way!!! We had a special event at Acme recently. It was the nicest, most wonderful, delicious and beautifully decorated dinner party ever. I myself have done a lot of entertaining through out my life. This event was the best!!! I was able to enjoy myself and my guests!!! Thank you Acme!!! You are all the best!!! �����

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff started to recognize us (sorta like Cheers!) When the cook misunderstood my request for 'over hard' and it came out 'medium' it was quickly corrected. Generous portions.
A little spendy, but Great food. Attentive service. Lots of 'less than ordinary' choices on the menu. In other words, they don't have the same thing everybody else has which gives you a reason to go there!
Acme Cafe is known for their chicken and waffles and so I needed to try! I wasn’t disappointed! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Delicious! They also have a delicious eggs Benedict and traditional breakfast dishes. The service was great and very friendly staff. We will come again!

Very nice, cozy eatery with a nice menu and even nicer staff. Service was very good with servers being super friendly and just nice. Food was delicious, I had the special, meatball sandwich which was made with very good care. Bread was buttered and toasted to show how much they put into every dish. Great breakfast, lunch spot in salem.
Wow from great customer service to ,Undeniably, the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. In fact I had 2 come back the next day for a second order of the Chix &Waffles. I also took home some sticky buns and a blueberry square. Also Amazing. 👏👏👏🤙👌👍

I rated this place 4 stars as the owner need to put some money into the upkeep of the building. Bare minimum a paint job and some extra cleaning. You will see in the pictures the bathroom wall has some caked on dirt on it and that was taken to show you my reader an example.
Also their is no friendliness from the staff on my visit. The staff had an whatever attitude towards us. DONT get me wrong they were not unfriendly I was treated with tolerance.

Stopped by for lunch and can't say enough good things. The staff were helpful and kind and the food was amazing. Their homemade bread was to die for. We got the shrimp po boy(pictured), hot ham sandwich and the kids grilled cheese. Will for sure be back!
Been meaning to try this place for a while as it was just down the street from my daughter's house when we went to visit. Finally got the chance for dinner and we had a great meal. We were too full for dessert but they looked amazing as well. Wish they served breakfast all day as those look awesome, too.
This is a cozy cafe that I would like to return to. The meals looked really good, but we were just there for ice cream.
The staff could do much better. We were asked to wait, then about 20 minutes later, they offered to seat us at the bar, which was available when we walked in. They did the same thing to a family who was waiting when we arrived.
We actually watched servers play not it, when it came to waiting on customers. There was one staff member who was really efficient and took care of guests while the other two screwed around. All this happened a few feet from us.
So other than needing some staff who care about providing good service, I'd say this is a great place for a hot lunch on a rainy day.
