A Festive Wonderland: Grand America Hotel During Christmas The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, transforms into a mesmerizing winter wonderland during the Christmas season, making it an enchanting destination for holiday enthusiasts. My visit was particularly captivated by the hotel's spectacular Christmas windows, a highlight that added an extra layer of magic to the already luxurious experience. Each window, meticulously designed and creatively themed, tells a unique story, captivating both young and old. The attention to detail in these displays is remarkable, with each scene beautifully crafted to evoke the wonder and joy of the festive season. Strolling from window to window felt like walking through a storybook, each turn offering a new, delightful visual narrative. The hotel itself upholds its reputation for grandeur and elegance. The lobby and common areas are festooned with festive decorations, twinkling lights, and a splendid Christmas tree, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. This festive spirit extends throughout the hotel, making every corner feel like part of a Christmas fairy tale. Beyond the windows, the hotel's service remains impeccable. The staff are courteous and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and exude the luxury one would expect from the Grand America. Dining at the hotel is a treat, with the culinary offerings maintaining high standards of quality and taste. The Christmas-themed treats and menus add a festive flair to the dining experience. In summary, the Grand America Hotel during the Christmas season is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive holiday experience. The Christmas windows are the stars of the show, but the overall ambiance, service, and quality make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in the festive spirit in a grand setting.

We went to see the lights. Get valet parking. They gave us complimentary penguins! They are amazing! Extremely friendly and helpful! The lights and windows were very fun and beautiful with our band of kids and adults. Would absolutely recommend valet parking and seeing the lights. $15 for parking.

Came here for my husband's company Christmas party. The food was excellent. Especially the mashed potatoes. There was a pumpkin squash soup that tasted like happiness, and I hate squash. Service was also quite good.. Everything was beautiful and well maintained. I hope they keep having their parties here!

Went to a catered dinner as a guest. It was as easy to park. We were able to easily get into the building. Finding the room it was a little more difficult. It would be nice to have a map or better signage to find the banquet room. The room was beautiful. Tables were set perfectly. The food was arranged so it could be easily accessed on both sides of the serving tables. It was beautiful and the perfect temperature. 4.8 stars

I didn't actually spend the night here. I was here for a work Christmas party. I loved all the decorations and Christmas displays at the hotel. It was very festive. The hotel was actually a little too big for my taste. Too easy to get lost.

We had a congress there. The hotel looks amazing! Many rooms for meetings/presentations/sessions. It looks very luxurious. The breakfast could be better but I think it is a normal American breakfast. All in all very nice.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, and I was absolutely blown away by the outstanding hospitality of the staff and the luxurious accommodations. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was being treated like royalty. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a smooth check-in process. My room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a view of the Rocky Mountains that was simply breathtaking. The staff at the Grand America Hotel are truly some of the most dedicated and professional people I have ever met. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a memorable experience. In addition to the outstanding service, the Grand America Hotel also has some of the best amenities of any hotel I have ever stayed at. There is a world-class spa, an indoor and outdoor pool, and a fitness center. There are also several restaurants and bars on-site, so you never have to leave the hotel if you don't want to. I would highly recommend the Grand America Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Salt Lake City. The staff is outstanding, the accommodations are top-notch, and the amenities are second to none. You won't be disappointed! Here are some specific examples of the outstanding hospitality I experienced at the Grand America Hotel: The restaurant staff was attentive and made sure that my meal was perfect. I would definitely stay at the Grand America Hotel again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Salt Lake City

My husband stayed a night at the Grand America to kick off our honeymoon before leaving town. The Grand was the perfect place to stay - great staff & of course amazing rooms with beautiful architecture & design. The staff was so kind & gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling lemonade at check in when we mentioned he had just gotten married. I wish we had spent another night there! We didn't have time to try it but I've heard their brunch is to die for!

Food, atmosphere, and the location were all amazing. The staffs at the entrance were very welcoming as well. But the Waitress who helped us was very unattentive; didn't come to our table to get our drink menu until we asked for the Waiter to come twice, didn't bring the coffee that I ordered until I complained, didn't refill water or coffee, and the list goes on. I almost felt like she was being a racist because when she got the order for the table next to us, she brought everything almost right away. I almost asked one of the staff to change our Waiter because I was so upset. But besides that Waiter, everything was great.

The best hotel we've ever stayed at, so much so that we were emotional upon departure. Both pools are amazingly beautiful and very clean. The grounds are extremely well manicured. The staff goes above and beyond to help. The only small complaint is there wasn't a microwave in the room. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

We were here for a bridal shower. The food and wait staff were excellent, accommodating different dietary needs with a smile! Only thing I would suggest is training new wait staff to walk around to the back of the room and be a little more discreet when clearing used dishes instead of walking in front of the guest of honor when people are taking pictures.

I took my girls for tea. My granddaughter had a 9th birthday party that no one was able to attend, so we did tea. The toy store ambassador left a few little gifts for her that surprised us all. So nice. Sammy loved the seal on the envelope of the card so much I had to open carefully so as to keep it whole. It was so lovely. Thank you!!! Oh, and we met a guest, John Rhys-Davies!!

Super dissatisfied with the customer service of this hotel. My cute friend and her husband just got married 10/7 and went to go spend the night of their wedding here, only to be disappointed. They weren’t able to stay the night because this place supposedly needed a card present for them to check in, even though the room was paid for over the phone. None of that information was relayed to the person who paid for the room. This was a gift for the bride and groom. Do better, Grand America. Edit: 5 stars because they reached out to my friend to make things better. Literally the sweetest thing ever!! Thank you guys!!!
