Two of us I got the beef, and wife had the steak. One drink each and bill was 115 without tip.

I've been here a few times and the food is always well prepared and the specialty drinks are great. My favorite is their Pago burger. It's awesome.

The goodness! I've enjoyed every meal here, the food is superb.
Loved it! The steak, salmon and risotto were wonderful. But they ran out of dessert - so sad.
Wow! Great flavors, attentive staff--eat at the Chef's counter for interesting conversation! Ask for Dave as your server.
Friendly staff and delicious plates with great wine!
Perect way to end a long work week! Great service and good energy!
PAGO is the best restaurant in Utah. The menu, wine list and the service are all absolutely wonderful! We recommend PAGO every chance we get. Bob and Charlene Payne.
Enchanting, inspiring, and most pleasurable dining experience. Clever menu and delectable presentation. We absolutely adore our chat with Dominique and admire the collaboration of the entire staff. Thank you!
Pago is a very small yet cozy place for an intimate dinner with friends or a date or just as a couples night-out. Definitely try the Burrata and the sourdough bread with the spread is amazing. A must try even if it's just for a glass of wine.
Great tasting food and the sauces were incredible. We had Casio Pepe, lamb shank and the Rigatoni with meatballs. We started with the cheese and charcuterie board. It was all delicious. Dave our server was top notch and a wonderful host.
I had brunch at this place, and the food was amazing! The French toast was delicious. The location is nice. One thing that we disliked was the host; she was really aggressive, not helpful, and rude. My concerns were that she was going to be our waitress, but good thing she wasn't; our waitress was the opposite and so friendly.
Finally found gems in SLC!
Seem everyone know what they’re doing, shout-out to David who explained every meals we had.
Each food are on points!
My wife are allergic to dairy, and we decided to not used any butter or dairy products. And still beautiful, delish and clean. Next time come to SLC I’ll ordered whatever chef will make on the menu since I have no food restrictions.
Also the wine is on points for the lady recommendations, (Natural Wine) is also 9/10 and what taste profile we’re looking for.
Look foward for invitations intimated private dining! :)
A Culinary Gem Celebrating Local Delights!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pago, located in the vibrant 9th and 9th area of Salt Lake City. As an avid supporter of local businesses, Pago's commitment to partnering with locals and serving the freshest, organic products instantly won me over. This restaurant truly exemplifies the essence of farm-to-table dining.
The menu at Pago is a delightful reflection of the changing seasons, ensuring that guests are treated to the best ingredients available throughout the year. Each dish is carefully crafted to showcase the flavors and textures of the quality produce sourced from local farms and artisans. It's an experience that encapsulates the true essence of culinary artistry.
One of my all-time favorites at Pago is the Heirloom Tomato Salad. The combination of whipped ricotta, fregula tabouleh, pistou, and preserved lemon creates a harmonious medley of flavors that dances on the palate. The freshness of the tomatoes shines through, making it a refreshing and delightful starter.
The Roasted Local Mushrooms is another standout dish. The earthy mushrooms paired with beluga lentils, piperade goat cheese, aleppo chiles, and scallions creates a symphony of tastes. The balance of flavors and textures is impeccable, leaving a lasting impression.
For pasta lovers, the Rigatoni all'Arrabbiata is a must-try. The handmade pasta is cooked to perfection, and the spiced pork and beef meatballs add a savory punch to the dish. The pesto and Parmesan elevate the rich tomato sauce to new heights, making it one of the best tomato sauces I've ever had.
Now, let me tell you about my absolute favorite dish at Pago—the Cacio e Pepe. The handmade bucatini pasta, tossed with smoked black pepper, ricotta whey, and pecorino, creates a simple yet extraordinary flavor profile. The dish is a celebration of the timeless combination of cheese and pepper, executed flawlessly. Each bite is a revelation, and I find myself craving it even as I write this review.
The ambiance at Pago is warm and inviting, with a friendly and attentive staff that enhances the dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to sustainability and supporting local producers adds an extra layer of satisfaction to every bite.
If you're a food enthusiast seeking an exceptional dining experience in Salt Lake City, Pago is an absolute must-visit. With their ever-changing menus, you'll always be surprised and delighted by the culinary wonders they create. Prepare to indulge in the freshest, most delicious dishes that celebrate the essence of local ingredients. Pago has truly earned its place among the city's culinary gems.
Had brunch at Pago on 9th & 9th. The service was speedy and friendly. We had the Salmon, French Toast, Eggs Benedict and the Burger. Every dish was very flavorful with excellent portions. Great value for the taste and quality! My personal nitpicking would be that they didn’t make my New York Sour drink the way it’s supposed to. Aside from that great experience and will definitely be back!
If I could give it 6 stars I would! And I never in a million years thought I would love eating stroganoff as much as I did here. It was absolutely incredible. Everything was wonderful from the wine to the mushrooms to the mains to the service to the atmosphere. I'm so glad to have finally found a restaurant with exceptional food that's actually worth paying more for. Oh and the portions are big!
We had an absolutely amazing meal here for my birthday! Knowledgeable and supportive staff, fabulous cuisine, splendid charcuterie and cheese board, and great wine selection. Cocktails were also excellent. We especially enjoyed the pork chop and the artichoke pasta dish. Perfect cozy ambiance for a date night.
At Pago they pay great attention to their dishes and the ingredients are all present to inspire enjoyment and interest through unique combinations of flavors and textures. I had one of those meals that satisfies basic visceral desires for food and headier sensual experiences. Thank you.
Small niche dining experience, which is great for some intimate convos. Not the best for a rambunctious group. Amazing hand made pastas, and small dishes. Had the stroganoff, which made me think twice about disliking mushrooms. Highly recommended. Also great wine, even tho I'm not much of a wine guy.
The food was delicious. Very cute place. They have a weird policy for charging a deposit when making a reservation which made it confusing when it was time to pay the bill.
Pago is amazing. It’s just as delicious every time I go. Burger is great. But their fancier entrees are the way to go. Wine list changes often and they have very interesting and boutique wines. High quality ingredients and the dining room is really cool and romantic. Make reservations. For the price it’s better than a lot of fancy restaurant options in town.
Everything we ate was amazing: the sauce with the salmon was incredible. The goat cheese toast was delicious. The squash and burrata is a MUST try. Their drinks were good too.
Their burratta toast with Concord grape jelly sounds unusual. It's probably one of the best things I've had in a while.
Always very good ingredients and well prepared food.
A neighborhood gem! Market salad was full of flavor and wonderful texture, and, despite first impressions, not overly dressed as the dressing was light and not too saucy.
Trout crudo with cucumbers and grapefruit slices was fresh and light, and the cucumbers provided a nice crunch. Beet salad was a huge portion, with macerated strawberries. The crispy quinoa provided a nice texture. Fried potatoes really hot the spot for something starchy but not too heavy. Service was genuine and quick. The one negative was that my lemonade was too watery, otherwise drinks were well made.
Came in for brunch on Saturday and luckily we were able to get reservations for a part of 4 on OpenTable. The restaurant was pretty tiny but super cute. The servers were all really nice and great about keeping our coffees filled while we waited for food.
We got the eggs benedict and the egg dish (I was luckily able to get my eggs made overeasy vs scrambled but that is because the chef had enough time for the special request).
The eggs were pretty small but my guess is that is because they are farm to table vs grocery store eggs. The veggies were super fresh and the potatoes were cooked to perfection.
It was a truly lovely meal in a great location with incredible staff! We cannot wait to go back to try lunch and dinner!
