First of all, Kimi is quite possibly the sweetest woman on this planet!!! She genuinely cares about your dining experience...and it shows!! I have been to this restaurant twice, and each time she made a point to come visit with our party, and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Everything from the amazing decor, to the friendly wait staff, to the menu... It is all meticulously supervised by Kimi as the night goes on. The food is out of this world. I have had the pleasure of enjoying many things here (My friends and I share), but the ceviche is out of this world, and the Rib Eye is to die for!!! I have also eaten the best burger I have ever eaten from the lunch menu! (I'm not a big fan of burgers, but was pleasantly surprised after being talked into trying it.) Dress to impress because this is one of the nicest dining experiences you will have in Salt Lake City!!

Arianna is the best waitress, she's kind and helpful with the menu. We almost didn't come back after a very rude waiter and poor service experience. Now we're glad we did. The food is always incredible. Keep awesome staff like Arianna around and we will come back again and again

Graduation & Birthday dinner(s) for a party of 17 went off without a hitch! Tim our waiter was fabulous. The atmosphere is gorgeous and food exceed expectation. We are a hard crowd to please and not one complaint. It was so good we were sharing food so others could try. I couldnt believe the sweet blonde lady who was helping make our dinner enjoy was the owner herself Kimi!! What a great night!! This is a gem of restuarant for sure!

I absolutely love to go up to the bar and have a glass of wine with one of their appetizers and they never disappoint. I love the atmosphere, the furnishings and the artwork and Kimi is the nicest merchant out there!

The atmosphere was great!!! The staff are friendly and made us feel at home. I asked to meet one of the chefs on staff and I met Chef Juan. He was full of great information on the preparation that went into our meals and has an awesome personality. Our waiter Demitri was always on point and attentive. We will return upon our visit to Salt Lake City Utah. Thank you for the best dining experience.

My husband and I enjoyed the Brunch on Sunday, February 12th. This was the second week of them opening for this. This was our second visit. The first time was for dinner with friends. The staff was amazing and Kimi sat down with us for a great conversation. I love the "grown-up" atmosphere. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend Kimi's. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Met some great people. Great place to take your significant other tomorrow for a special treat.

Lived in SLC over 25 years and THE best restaurant ever. I felt like I could have been on either coast at the finest. Ambiance, scrumptious food and Lindsey was an excellent waitress. We had some confusion with Open-Table and reservations. The owners were nothing , but first class. I will be back with friends often.

So I went out to dinner here last night, I got there at 5:30 and ww were the only people in there. The server started us out with free house bread and red pepper hummus . The bread was warm and soft with a very nice crust, the humus was tasty but needed some salt. For appetizers we got 1/2 dozen oysters and I quite enjoyed the mignonette served with it while the cocktail sauce was pretty plain. Then I got there beef tartar special and I wasn’t super impressed, not very much beef abc a very large portion of arugula and the crackers were dry. But I did very much enjoy there pickled onions. Then for entrees we got the lamb chops and pork chop? Very beautiful plating and good sized portions on each, but my lamb and the pork chop were both over cooked. For dessert I got the posset and it was just ok, nothing crazy. Over all though the server was great and super helpful!

We ended up here to get out of the heat after a restaurant nearby failed to open for the evening. Wow what a great choice... We had the braised pork tostadas to start... Yum. Great acidity and the wonton base was delicious. Cocktails were both perfect, especially the peachtini. For entrees my filet mignon was perfectly done rare although the prawns were pretty tough (though delicious). Everything was seasoned spot on... So rare to find well done food like this. My partner had the fried chicken and gave it rave reviews. The best part though: the desserts. The cheesecake with cardamom was fantastic and the Kimi's chocolate kiss... Also so amazing. We had both "to go" and both kept extremely well and were enjoyable that way. The ambience was great as well. Nice and quiet with fancy decor. Would definitely go again for a special occasion.

Listen, if you haven’t had this culinary and service experience you need to do yourself a favor and go to Kimi’s. From the greeting of the host to receiving the check the experience was on point. Vadym was our server and he was straightforward, super knowledgeable, and personable. He really amplified the experience and all of his recommendations were excellent. The food was ridiculously tasty and the beverages were very refreshing. I highly highly recommend this restaurant.

A high end place for dinner. It is supposed to be among the top in the valley. I couldn’t comment much on the dishes since the selections available to me personally are limited but I have had my colleagues give rave reviews on the menu and the wines served. The service is impeccable. You are a royalty within those 4 walls, so enjoy while it lasts. Food portions for what I could savor were decent enough. Bread is oh so wonderful. The beet appetizer was ok The vegan cake entrée was very good. Do not miss the dessert.

Had Easter brunch here and it was fantastic ! The food was of very good quality and tasted amazing. From the Prime Rib to the Carrot Cake I thoroughly enjoyed every thing I tried. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time . We will be back for dinner soon.

The ambience and the service were excellent. The food? Well, not every entree at our table was met with enthusiasm. I had a most delicious mushroom soup - kudos to the chef. Two other people had the scallops and the chicken - also good reviews. The entree that was not well received was the salmon (as well as the accompaniments). I was visiting from out of state and I would probably dine here again when back in town; unfortunately, two of the locals said that they would not return.

Kimi's might be the best hidden gems in Salt Lake City. Kimi herself is just beautiful funny gracious and absolutely loves serving people with the most delicious food. Whether you're out on a date or taking the family out for a celebration, Kimi's is absolutely one of the top 10 in the state for quality taste service atmosphere and beyond.

What a superb meal we enjoyed with our friends. The food was amazing and so flavourful. We tried several appetizers and the tuna Tatar was delicious. Everything was good. The entree steak fries was one of the best steaks I've eaten. Super tender and seasoned perfectly. Definitely a must stop for dinner if you're in the Sugarhouse area.

Kimi’s is overall delicious and the ambiance it grand. I loved the flavor in the caprice salad. It’s a must have if you dine here. Pass on the shrimp cocktail. The sauce was great but the shrimp were on the small side. We enjoyed the pork chop and the filet. The sauces were the perfect blend of flavor mixed with a garlic mashed potato or Brussels sprouts. The berry cobbler dessert was good. I won’t get it again. It was a bit blander and I like a sweeter dessert.

We loved our dinner at Kimi’s. We went there on a Thursday night and they were able to seat us and offered us the bar or the dining room. Great decor with high ceilings, dark walls, stylish seating and some funky art to complement it all. They also have a beautiful outdoor space to eat with misters for the heat. We chose the dining room and had a cute corner booth/banquette with a semicircle double seat and a view across the whole dining room. Our server Vadym was attentive and answered our questions about the dishes we were thinking about. We started with a glass of wine and some appetizers including the golden beet salad -excellent- and the smoog- a Norwegian dish of basically a crab salad server with toasted sourdough. We also had a Caesar salad. I found that to be over dressed and the lettuce slightly less crisp than I would like. For dinner I chose the salmon dish which they cooked more than I asked them to (I asked for medium rare) which wasn’t the worst because it was high-quality fish -but I found the use of the sauce a little heavy handed. Meaning there could’ve been half of it there and it still would’ve tasted really good. That said I highly recommend you try this place out there’s a great diverse menu with something for everybody

Great place for a cozy dinner to listen to local live music. It's one of those places that you stay and enjoy your dinner for a long time. Some of the dishes were great but some were so so, lacking uniqueness.

We had a last minute dinner here to cheer us up after having a very bad couple of days. Kimi’s Chop & Oyster House definitely turned the frown upside down. I was craving oysters and seafood and everything we ate was fresh, tasty, and definitely worth the price. Service was great. We will be back for sure.

I loved my experience here. We came for our Prom dinner. They were very kind to push our reservation back when we found we'd be running late. I got the fried chicken dish which was delectable. The establishment looks and feels very elite and fancy. Simply an excellent place to eat. My only complaint is that when we were offered a free desert for each couple in our group they said they would be right back to take our orders and came back 30 minutes later. By this time the dance had already started so we had to run the checks and bounce. Not enough of a problem to bump off any stars though. 5 star meal, service, and atmosphere.

Here is amazing, the oysters are fresh and sweet, so good. We ordered twice. The steam clam is really tasty. The whole restaurant atmosphere is great. Well, the ingredients are fresh, everything comes great. Good experience here. Ah, byw, Kimi is the boss, she is really really nice.

Very nice dining experience, with high ceilings, well spread out tables (no having to listen to the table next to you, or be concerned that your going to bump below with the next area), and terrific food. Make sure to give e the Salmon a try, as my wife revealed that it is the very best she has had! Which, is a huge compliment considering she gets salmon at pretty much every single restaurant we attend. The ribeye was also good, but a little fatty for the price, and seemed to have been either cooked or prepared differently than most steak houses; can't put my finger on it, other than the fruity type of butter or something on top. Comes out with zero seasoning, and no salt or pepper, which is nice so that you can prepare how you like. The grilled veggies and brussel sprouts were very good; yeah I know, I just said that! Check out my pictures/video a sneak peak! Overall, it was a very nice experience, and one that we would recommend. Only draw back was the difficult parking to get over to the front door.
