We had the stuffed french toast, omlet, and side of pancakes. It was okay, but wasn't as good to-go as it is dine in. The food was ready when they said it would be, and the service was friendly and prompt. We'll be back, but probably not for to-go orders.
Every once in a while I drive by one of my favorite places and think about the pictures and review that I did there. One of those places, and one of the best breakfast spots in Salt Lake City is Millcreek Cafe & Eggworks. I recommend it often and visit it often. The other day I was scrolling through my blog and tried to locate my review, and COULD NOT FIND IT ANYWHERE! All these years of going to Millcreek Cafe & Eggworks and I never once posted pictures. This is an injustice that is going to be fixed RIGHT NOW!
One of my favorite breakfast places in Salt Lake City! The stuffed French toast is amazing along with basically everything on the breakfast menu!
My favorite breakfast spot in the Salt Lake Valley. Friendly service & great food!
Always excellent food and attentive service. Try the specials and the pancakes.
Great Food, Iffy Service. I absolutely love the food there. I've been several times and have yet to get something I haven't liked. However, I also have yet to get good service there. If this doesn't bother you, it's definitely worth it.
The best. Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks is by far the best breakfast in Salt Lake City. We have tried all the best rated breakfast places and they have exceptional quality food and decent prices. We rate MC&E much higher than ruths diner, blue plate diner, and eggs in the city!
Pretty Good. I really enjoyed the breakfast roll with green chile pork. Nothing fancy but pretty good and not too greasy. Recommended for a quick breakfast.
the café was bustling and busy, and we had to wait for a few minutes before a table opened up. Our waitress was quick and polite. She not only smiled and said 'hello' to our two year-old,
This place is one of favorites breakfast cafes in the valley. Love the country fried and hash browns are amazing, with a side a sausages perfect combo. Don’t forget to get their monthly special pancakes they never fail they’re delicious. Got bummed out when i saw the other people’s low reviews on here they’re amazing staff and their food is delicious honestly. The wait times are hit and miss but nowadays where don’t you have to wait? Everywhere is packed especially weekends. So be patient i highly recommend to give them a chance and to try the food.
I had the stuffed french toast and it was delicious. My sister had the breakfast tacos and kept saying how good they were. The staff was awesome. They did a great job keeping our drinks filled and the food didn't take long to come out either. I'm definitely going back again.
The country fried steak was good. 4/5. Good breading and country gravy. Tasted home made. The Wife loved the gluten free chocolate pancakes. Will come back to try more.
My wife had to send her Eggs Benedict back because it was cold. When it came back out it was hot and she said it was good. My bacon was crispy like I ordered, but my toast was cold and I couldn't even put butter on it (toast cold and the butter was very cold).
Gluten free pancakes were so good! My husband had the stuffed French toast,v which he loved. I stole some of his "stuffing," a delicious creamy concoction, and put it on my pancakes. So good! Next time I would ask if we could get stuffed GF pancakes. Huge portions. Can get a single pancake as one of the sides with the egg dishes. Pretty much of a diner atmosphere. Server refilled my decaf coffee with regular, but I caught it. She was sweet but nothing special as far as service.
I had a great time here. We busted at 11:30. I got the pulled pork Benny. It was delicious. We will definitely be back soon.
I was greeted with a smile, and seated quickly. Chicken fried steak was delicious, and the hash browns were extra crispy - as requested! Yummy all around.
End up in this brunch joint after putting our names in 3 others places all with 60+ min wait.... and we are glad we ended up here!!!
Love the friendly ambience and wait staffs. The food doesn’t seem like a lot at first but boy it filled us up! And did I mention it’s really yummy too?
Highly recommend “the mound” (eggs, hash browns, bacon, ham, cheese), and eggs Benedict. Wasn’t a fan of the French toast (had a hard glaze on it that didn’t taste great (however other people liked it) and it was a bit dry). Everything a little under $10 each.
One of the best places to eat in salt lake city. The breakfast was amazing just down home good cooking. The service was amazing can't find nothing better for breakfast then this hidden gem.
Everything on point. I went there’s with my friends and there was waiting list which gives good impression about the food. The time we wait was not long, and believe me it worth the wait. I had veggie omelette with hash brown and pancake of the month. The omelette and the hash brown were amazing, but the chocolate mint pancake was another level of deliciousness. I like that they have different pancakes each month. This was wonderful breakfast experience and I’ll definitely come back a lot .
This hidden gem is a quaint place for breakfast or lunch! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The savory quinoa was delicious! I’ll be back to try more things!
Small and Lovely place, nice decor. Food was okay and prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly too 🙏🏽. I ordered the California Benny w/ hash browns and a latte… I was satisfied 😋
