Somi Vietnamese Bistro - Salt Lake City - Photo album

Tried this place for the first time. We had a gift card, and honestly didn't know where this was until we ate at a neighboring restaurant, so we came back to try Somi. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but everything is now. My garlic eggplant didn't warrant the spicy moniker, and althou
One of my favorite local Asian restaurants in the Salt Lake area. The ambience is nice and quiet, the service is great, and the food is excellent. I usually get a rice plate. I really recommend their appetizer of summer rolls with their peanut sauce, it is stellar and my top pick from their menu.
I had a delightful dining experience at Somi Restaurant. Their fried chicken was flavorful and impeccably cooked, a definite must-try! The fried squid with basil was also quite enjoyable, albeit slightly overpowering in taste, but paired wonderfully with main dishes. We ordered the pork chop vermic
Really delicious Vietnamese food. I had the plate with chicken egg rolls and beef. Really want to come back and try the orange chicken and other menu items! Servers were great and atmosphere!
Place is amazing I’ve eaten here three times already this week. I got the Somi special so if you like vermicelli noodles these are so good. I usually get it Togo or delivery but dining is super cool too very friendly and lots of light.
Great place, with friendly staff, good food, and good prices. We had the shaking beef, pot stickers, and cucumber avocado roll. The passion fruit fizz was a nice refreshing drink on a summer afternoon. I had the beef medium rare; the flavor, texture, and doneness were fantastic. The cook caramelized
The environment was great. Food was stupendous. Tried one of their new cocktails (Singapore sling) and really enjoyed it. I will be back again. Thanks!
Great food, service average. Mauricio, our waiter, was really kind. He did a good job. The hostess wasn’t efficient. We entered the restaurant, nobody was there. We waited, two servers looked at us and none took initiative to call the waitress. Small details that can be easily fixed by training the
Their calamari is some of the best I've ever had they put jalapenos on it and basil. Create a wonderful light plate with it and the Avocado and Cucumber. Cocktail menu is wonderful
My experience with this place was so good. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice.
The summer rolls were amazing! I usually hate peanut, but the dipping sauce for the summer rolls were good together. The wagu beef pho was okay for me. Our server Flordia, was absolutely amazing and funny. I would definitely come back here again. Thank you for the wonderful service 😄.
Been here 4 times, consistently tasty. I came for the Moo Shu (which I am always on the hunt to find this dish really well done) and they did not disappoint. I will say I ordered it to-go one time and not quite as good as the 3 times I had it there. Service is solid. Also the calamari is has a nice
Really loved the atmosphere at Somi. The drinks so good with fresh lychee and ginger . I thought the food was fantastic ( not as authentic as I prefer ) but was still wonderful. I ordered the vermicelli with prawn which was cooked perfectly . The Staff was very attentive & friendly. I would def
Rodel is an excellent server. Sitting outside was fun. The food was flavorful, colorful, and full of surprises! The seafood pan seared noodles dish had pieces of yummy garlic, and the veggies and fish were cooked just right! Thank you!! Will be having the crab soup next time!
My friends and I came here as as a back up option, and it turned out to be the perfect ending to our trip. After hiking and camping with a dog all week for vacation, we figured we would treat ourselves to a real, non-fastfood meal on our last day. The "restaurant" next door did not meet mine or my
